Well, meant how Extremis is eventually linked to nanotechnology.
Then shouldn't they annihilate Iron Man easily? Those Nano missiles devour metal like crazy.
Extremis nanos don't work the same way as GI Joe nanites.
Cobra replaced the President secretly without much notice, I'm not sure why Extremis tried to make it so big of a mess.
ALL NANOTECHNOLOGY WORKS THE SAME WAY.
**** you science!!
Thank God Ebert's dead so we don't have to listen to his otherwise inevitable whiny, cranky, I-hate-fun review of this film.
You realize he gave 4 stars to IM1, and 3 stars to every other MCU film (including IM2), except for Thor? Ebert was willing to let a movie be fun more than many other reviewers.
Since I am fully aware of the potential for a threadful of crickets & cobwebs if I made it its own topic, I will state in here that Shane Black going directly into doing a Doc Savage film is rather glorious.
Please result in Wold Newton Cinematic Universe
You know, posts like this make me strongly wish for a dislike button. Bad taste just doesn't cover it.
Shane Black is a horrible choice.
If I'm making up a story, I can replace the president easily, too.
Cobra already did it.
You just have remember immature posts like that probably come from immature brains. And they're probably 12.
The lines have become too blurred for you, Comrad.
Maybe because I was further pissed off when I found the similarity.
I don't even know what to do with you at this point.
Well I've waited 5 years to see the Mandarin since Iron Man 1.
And they gave me this ****.
Yeah, they said that
sometimes the bad guy is the nerdy guy that probably started with good intentions but has now become a monster, not the racist caricatures with a large "ENEMY" sign on them.
I felt the same with Venom after Spider-Man 3
It's what you two deserve for liking terrible characters.
It's not just what they did with the Mandarin.
It's also the fact that the "damsel in distress" ended up saving the day.
Basically, challenge the cliched expectations of comic book types in any way, get punished for it. Oh and the bad guy better not be working for a chick. OR ELSE.
I saw it yesterday. I was really liking the Mandarin, and um then the big swerve... really don't get why they did that.
I'm not sure what the reason was for the 'clean slate' either?
anyone notice there was no rock song like in the last two movies?
Right now it's feeling like my least favorite of the 3 movies. It's strange to me they said they didn't do Mandarin in the first movie because he was too far-fetched,, and then they end up going pretty far into sci-fi in this film.
And even though they stuff the suits can do is coming from the comic books, the first movie played so well for me because it seemed like it was actually possible to have a suit like that....but now they're going a bit too far.
