I have a few hundred StarWars CCG cards, these cards have just been sitting around in my room for 4-5 years so if anyone know anything, please help..

I`ve compiled a list of what Dark Side cards I have, and I`m working on the Light Side list as I write this.

If anyone wish to help me identify the rarity of my cards, please contact me on msn; since I can`t upload my list on here.

I`ve looked on and I`ve noticed that U1\U2 seems to be the rarest and I have plenty of those :D

Anyways, thanks for your future help...

U1/U2 are uncommons and are NOT the rarest cards.

Most SWCCG expansions have three levels of rarities. From most rare to least, they are Rare (R), Uncommon (U) and Common (C).

The first few expansions (Premiere, A New Hope, Hoth ... maybe Dagobah?) split each of these into two sub-levels, R1 and R2, U1 and U2, C1 and C2. R1 is twice as rare as R2, etc.

Fixed cards that are available in "premium" products are considered to have a "premium" (PM) rarity. Some PMs are hard to get (Mara Jade) others are easy to get. Premium products include Enhanced Premiere/Cloud City/Jabba's Palace packs, Sealed Decks, Anthologies, and new non-foil cards found in Reflections II and III.

Special Edition starter decks had several fixed cards in them (F). These were also available as common cards in booster packs, but they're still labeled with an F rarity.

Death Star II starter decks each had one "exclusive rare" (XR) card in them -- Admiral Piett and Admiral Ackbar. These were not available anywhere else. (Foil versions were finally made available in Ref III though....)

Death Star II also introduced two Ultra Rare cards (UR), significanly more rare than a normal rare. Usually (but not guaranteed) you'll find one UR per booster box of Death Star II.

Foil cards in all three Reflections sets have three different rarities: From most rare to least they are Ultra Rare Foil (URF), Super Rare Foil (SRF) and Very Rare Foil (VRF). Like the URs in Death Star II, the URFs are significanly more rare than a SRF or VRF, with only about one per booster box.

And finally ... Tatooine, Coruscant and Theed Palace introduced Alternate Image (AI) cards, nine in each expansion, IIRC. These were more rare than a normal rare (R) but not as much as a UR.

yeah, I noticed the thing about the u1\u2.. turns out I have more of the r1\r2 cards...
but finding anyone who`s interested in these are pretty hard it seems

The newer cards will be worth more, especially Coruscant, Theed Palace, Reflections III, and Endor (it had a more limited print run). There's just so much of the older cards out there that nobody needs them that badly.

The only commons/uncommons people will be looking for (in general) will be Coruscant and Endor.

That's not to say that you won't get some money for your cards, but unless you've got some big money cards in there you probably won't get back what you paid for them.

To give you an idea, I recently sold a lot of over 1,000 cards, with over 150 rares/premiums, for only $35 on ebay. You can see it here:

If you're looking for a quick reference to tell you what set and/or rarity your cards are, use this card list:

(Shrug) Send me a PM if you have a list of your cards, maybe I can help you move them....

    Which are the rarest cards?
Say the top five that collectors would go ape for.

Luke Skywalker Jedi Knight (UR or URF)
    Emperor Palpatine (UR or URF)
Darth Maul Young Apprentice (URF or AI)
    Corellian Corvette tournament foil
Imperial Class Star Destroyer tournament foil

Those are the top 5 that will fetch the biggest bucks, like $30 - $50 each.
