The Millennium Falcon!! No, I don't think it can do the Kessel run in five parsecs but it's a nifty little 50cc!

Go here to get a look at it....

    It's an LX50...

I've always had a thing for Vespas.

Is yours street legal, meaning do you have to get plates for it?

    And is the 150cc?

It cannot go on the highway but it can go on side streets. On days where they don't call for rain, I scoot to work.

    It's a 50cc...My nifty little 50!

Congrats on the Scoot! My hubby and I both have scooters. I have a vintage 1959 Vespa VBB 150 and hubby is restoring a Vintage Lambretta and fine tuning the engine including specialized barrel etc. so it will actually go a bit faster than it was originally made too. You can get away going into Ill. from Mo. if you take the MLK bridge into East St. Louis, it is safe during the day or in packs. Check out Yahoo, they have a St. Louis Scooter group and do weekly rides too.

I found the St Louis scooter group and have ridden with them once. It was fun to be with others who love their scoots!

Missed the Vespa open house today at St Louis Vespa (www.vespastl.com) because I am packing to move next week.
