I passionately hate Pringles! Anyone else here feeling like me?

Not enough that i find the flavor and texture of them totally disgusting, they are more expensive than way better staple chips, in my town most food stores have begun replacing better chips with that trash!

And to add insult to injury, when ever i play on my phone i get pringles ads

 

I agree that Pringles don't taste good.

 

I don't passionately hate them but I also don't purchase them. But if I do happen upon them, I like to put two together to make a face like a duck.

Texture wise, it's like sawdust that's been glued together. Which probably isn't far off from how they're made.

Not big on chips. With Pringle your paying for the tube.

 

they're great for making duck lips and nothing else.

 

Is this unique? I have literally never met anyone that actually enjoys eating them. I know very few people who eat them at all.

That's probably why shops started replacing other chips with this vile ****. To stop people from buying cheaper (and better) products.

 

I do like the tube idea - at least you stand a pretty good chance of getting most of the chips unbroken. I also buy tortilla chips in bags and tiny bits of those are no good to put a slice of cheese on.

 

I've got the fever for the flavor of a Pringle.

 

There are other staple chips, at least in germany, which are packaged like Pringles and are actually really tasty.

Some of them, like Bahlsen Chipsletten are around at least since the late 80s or early 90s, from what i remember.

We have Doritos Stax here in the UK but I don't care for the flavors. I like a lightly salted tortilla chip - best one I've tried so far is the Co-op's own brand ones. Unfortunately the local store doesn't always have them. (It's just a small store).

 

Tubes are idiotic. Food is organic matter. There is absolutely no reason that individual items should be so completely regular and identical in shape that fit on top of one another in a cardboard tube. What kind of soulless artificial world do you live in? What a monstrous vision for humanity.

 

Are Lay's not available at shops?

 

The consistancy of these chips is better than that of the ones in bags imo. They are thicker and crunchier than those.

 

Only ever eaten the bagged ones. Never seen staple chips from them.

 

I have no idea what staple chips are and when I Googled it I just got the office supply store.

 

I hear you can cure that with cowbell.
