But I think (I hope) I'll only look at the lucas selects and stuff from the official site.

No 3SA forum, no fan speculation and no spy reports for me if I can help it. I found the lack of humour of the fanboys in the 2SA forum prior to AOTC to be frightning.

 

I was spoiled for TPM and hated it.
I was spoiler-free for AOTC and loved it.

I think I'm probably going to go spoilers and see if the projection lasts.

 

I'm such a spoiler addict I can't go cold turkey for this one.

 

What I didn't like about those forums, JP, was that so many people were ripping into the film all the time. That got tiresome pretty quick. I've never returned there, nor will I.

It's funny -- 3 months, and this is the first time we talk about Star Wars on this Star Wars messageboard.

 

I knew everything before I went into AotC. Anything I didn't know from spoilers (which wasn't a lot!) I found out from the screenplay in the Art of Episode II.

It was almost like deja-vu... it felt like I'd seen it before, but I hadn't.

 

I was a regular in 2SA up until the release of the film. I saw it pretty early a week before release - though not as early as I was supposed to see it (2 weeks prior)

I enjoyed some of the discussion, but most speculation was stifled by the fanboys who knew the script(ment) off-by-heart.

I went there for the spy reports and the leaked photos etc.

I went there to show off a bit between me seeing the movie and the release date.

Since then I've had no interest at all in discussing the life out of every little aspect of it and trying to "see how it fits" into the grand scheme of the six in the series.

That will become apparent after Ep3... I can wait.

 

Yeah, that's what I had too, Dave. It still blew me away, though.

I'm 99% spoiler free for The Two Towers. The only TTT stuff I've seen in the 10 minute doco thing on the end of the FOTR DVD.

Mind you, I have read the book, so am pretty much down with the plot. So that drive to know what happens isn't so strong as it is with Episode3.

 

Ooh, I saw some killer TTT pics the other day. Drooled over David Wenham a bit.

David Wenham has been in my top 5 list for a long time. In fact I even remember a poll in Community about 2 years ago where I mentioned him as well. Suffice to say, he's playing my favourite character from the books.
