Icon Thread--Version 9: The icons are merciless. They take everything from you.

If I may make a request, could someone please put up an icon of Aldar Beedo/a Glymphid? It would be greatly appreciated, as it's kind of my username. Oh, and one of Grievous from The Clone Wars would also be pretty sweet.

 

Yeah, why no Halloween icons yet? And what about election icons?

 

Working on it, the plan was to upload Halloween icons by the 28th so they're still on schedule.

@ HLS. Those would all be awesome - the normal set is going up like usual but anything fresh is always appreciated!

The newest icons can be found here, which is just a link to the "New Icons" link from the icon menu. The way you know what gets accepted is by watching this thread and that page really. If you have any questions please feel free to post them or shoot me a PM!


Speaking of uploads...there are new images on my desktop as I type! I've got a batch of them to upload tonight, so stay tuned.

Speaking of which, seems as though the server had different plans for me last night. I wasn't able to log in or even bring up the boards since just after my post so my access to the FTP was blocked as well. I'll start by adding the NaNoWriMo and Halloween icons now, then letting the others trickle in as tomorrow ticks on. Always an adventure!

 

It's probably a little late in the game for such a request, but would it be possible to whip up some political icons for the week leading up the election?

 

My Wicked Witch icon isn't there yet! I have to settle for this.

Last Halloween there was an icon of me in a cowboy costume. Sepia toned. Submitted by Beezel. It's not still around somewhere is it? And if so, am I allowed to use it again this Halloween, please?

 

We haven't discussed this at all in MS, though I do think those two posted would be alright.

Hmm. I'm wondering if this shouldn't be a permanent icon filed under Cast & Crew. We have several icons there of Star Wars actors in non-Star Wars movies, so it wouldn't be out of place. Plus it is quite a nice icon.

 

So nobody made any of the icons I suggested.

Also, didn't we have like more Halloween icons in previous years. I mean icons that we kept and brought back every year?
