edit: I just noticed that the very last Halloween icon is the Nos Monster from a cut scene of Revenge of the Sith. Shouldn't that be moved to the ROTS section?

Hmm. Not a single icon I requested or wanted got uploaded this year. First time that has happened. I'll just take it as another sign of this place dying.

 

Yeah, since it won't be apparent after the Halloween icons get taken down: for the record that "thanks" was sarcasm, because you guys uploaded 3 icons yesterday after requests were made in this thread, and none of them were ones requested.

 

Election icons, let's get them up there, guys!

So before I address individual quotes, I did want to mention that we lost power over the day or so before Halloween and I wasn't able to field as many requests as I would have liked. (Actually, I was worried it would still be bad through the holiday itself but thankfully it wasn't!)

Unfortunately, it was back-to-back with me getting told the place I'm moving into is opening this week instead of another week from now...so things have been crazy. That said I'm talking with a few people about getting some additional eyes in here for future events - more on that soon.

Do you know which one it was? I had to take them down and can't remember which one you were using...

Last year I uploaded over 400 for the 4-day span we had them online. That's just too many to even try to work around when you have to upload them one-by-one. We probably have over to 600 now from various years and so I tried to mix it up a bit this time around. I just tried to get a general mix - not sure how to differentiate what should and shouldn't be uploaded when there are that many.

For that I am very sorry, I mentioned not being able to be around the 30th in MS but didn't catch the links here in time for the last few I got on the 31st. Totally my fault, and I apologize for the letdown.

This one I can honestly say I had no clue about - I don't follow sports in the slightest and never got the signal to remove them. They're down now though.

 

It was a tall icon of Harrison Ford as Deckard from Blade Runner.

 

I had a question/request. Could we possibly keep some of the general writing ones for fanfiction? Like the crossed pen one and the one with the stacks of paper, even after NaNoWriMo is over?

 

Any plans for uploading more regular non-event icons?

I think we should go a step farther.
Delete all icons but these two.
They will take care of everything.
