Yeah, it wasn't exactly hard to make decent icons out of that cover.

 

Hey you all. As you know I am the biggest Mara Jade fan and Tim Zahn is my fave author aside from God. Well, I have been having the most amazing Facebook conversation with the man on his official fanpage and we have been talking about a lot of things, including icons that I make here (even though i am not as prolific as some of you awesome icon makers). He is interested in my work, which blew my mind. I want to make some icons of him and told him this and asked him which pics of his I should use and he gave me suggestions from his own album. I am going to try them and then show him before I submit them here. I am just so excited. He wrote Heir to the Empire and it is being re-released for it's 20th anniversary and it is appropriate to have icons for its author anyway. I hope this is okay. One of his pics is him with a lightsaber that he made. (He made the picture, not the lightsaber. ) It is nice. I want to play with the others as well. What do you think? Sorry, I am such a fan girl and I am so glad the man is polite, nice to fans and gracious! So relieved for that! I will post them when I get his opinion of them. Thanks!

Okay... I found these and I am pretty sure they were not made into icons yet. I looked up Hello Kitty and did not find them. These are the first of 6 different characters I found. Hello Kitty Stickers. This is the Storm Troopers. I have black, red, blue and transparent but if anyone has requests for other colors or patterns or whatever I might be able to attempt, I will be glad to do them. Just PM me. Oh the other characters are Jango, R2, Leia, Chewie and C3P0. If anyone can find me the others, I would love you forever!!!! I am also doing the SW.com ESB bookmarks and the Tim Zahn icons so I have a nice bit of work to do. That is about 30+ Icons minus these. I know that is not many for some of you prolific and awesome (!) peeps but for me it is a LOT. LOL!!!! I had to cut it out and it was a pixel x pixel job this time. But I LOVE that kind of work! Please, give me ideas for backgrounds, I am in for a boring week and I would love work to do!!! If you want, I can post the original stickers so you can see what I am working with.

Thank you Nat. I worked so hard on those and I appreciate that. I have 4 more (times the different variations) and then I will hunt other characters to come up with a good collection, if that is okay. I want to find a Vader and a Luke and Han and Anakin and Yoda, etc.

Good news, if you like Hello Kitty. I have found all the characters for SW in stickers and figures and some others weird ones. I mean like 20 at least to work with. I will be busy! I will go ahead and work on them and paste them in big groups. There are some nice ones. I even have Lord Vader, Masters Yoda and Obi-Wan and I saw Palpatine, Han, Luke and many others. I was so excited I did not look for Prequel characters but I am going to take a better look and organize them. I need to look for soome other things. I have to scan my bookmarks too. This is going to be a great week. I have the Tim Zahn stuff that is going to be worked on between Hello Kitty stuff.

Sorry for all the updates. This is just such a big project for me! I started it a long time ago when I uploaded the sticker sheet with the first 6 characters and finally started digitally cutting out some of the stickers and placing them on backgrounds, and sometimes without them (transparency). I enjoy it and have a lot more to put out there for votes. Stick around!

You're telling ME! I am totally manic. My doctor has been trying things to help my Bipolar mania and it has worked beyond his wildest dreams. I feel a bit too great. It has made me way too productive and too enthusiastic. LOL! Tomorrow my doctor and I are addressing the issue and also the fact that I have slept only 5 hours in 36 hours. I do love the HK stickers though. I saw them and thought that they would make cute icons. I think 4 each is probably a good limit on the stickers and on the rest, one or two. I think I am capable of deciding on a decent background. I hope. They are so different, so many characters, so I think they will be okay for so many different ones. I hope (once again). I will let the voters decide that.
