I want to see some more general Han Solo icons.

 

Death to the TCW icons then.

 

So I noticed a criminal lack of Howard the Duck icons, and I figured before I go putz around in Gimp I should ask - would images from the Howard the Duck comics work? They're obviously related to a Lucas project, but unlike in more obvious cases (SW, Indy) the comics preceded the actual film, rather than the other way around.

 

I think those'll work. They're still related.

 

There are kind of a lot of those.

So how does the timing here work? Is there one set of icons put up per week for voting? And how long after new ones are presented here by their creators are they usually made part of a set for voting? Thanks.

How big IS the backlog? Cause I submitted some icons back in May/June and I haven't seen them yet :/

 

Well, it's kinda long. Icons I submitted April 2nd are now up for vote. See, the trick is to relentlessly submit stuff for months on end. Then eventually you have so many icons in the backlog that they kinda can't do a vote without some of your stuff. But that's me. Most sane folks submit a few and just wait.

 

Give or take. I usually give about 5 days for voting once a round goes up, and a new one is supposed to go up right after voting ends (or soon after, since sometimes I set them at night and am in bed before time runs out). In practice, however, sometimes I need to give a couple more days and bug people about voting, or I get super-busy or something. We should be doing at least one a week (unless, like a few weeks ago, I'm doing something like moving and get ridiculously busy for a bit--but those are the exceptions, not the rules).
