"If our Original Characters Were to Meet" Planning Thread

Okay this is an idea me and my fellow author Grand Admiral Jaxx came up with through a series of PM's.

Here's the basic idea. In this thread, authors of original characters can pair up and collaborate to write ascene in which their own characters might meet and the conversation they might have. As Jaxx and I see it, these chance meetings would usually be humorous, but hey whatever you guys want to do just as long as you keep it clean.

As soon as some of you out there show some interest, we'll posy a main thread for this in Fanfic Main where these 'meetings' can be posted. I'll let Jaxx post now so he can give an example for you guys and girls to see.

 

K folks, here goes...

My main character is Arcturus Lynx, and his is Kelak Raederth...

What if Arcturus met Kelak? I could picture it to be something like this...

"Raederth! It's you!"

Kelak froze in his tracks, daring not to turn around. "Oh Force no... that better not be you, Lynx."

"You damn right it is."

Kelak turned, with a sort of an openmouthed expression on his face, unsuccessfully trying not to
smile. "Been a long time, Arcturus. So what's new?"

"The usual. I've pissed off the most powerful bad guy in the galaxy."

"Girl, you mean."

"No, guy. Tyrus Spectre."

Kelak frowned. "Wasn't he a good guy?"

"Yeah, he turned Sith. He's the Dark Lord of the Sith right now." Arcturus shrugged.

Kelak said, "No, no no. I'm fighting the Dark Lordess of the Sith. Jadis."

"Never heard of her. I bet I could beat her up." Lynx gave Kelak a cocky grin.

"Uh, no. She's got Vader working for her, so that's two Dark Lords of the Sith I'm fighting."

"I could take on Vader... always wanted to try. Oh, lemme lemme lemme!" Turu jumped up and down
in excitement.

"Not if I get him first. Then there's Darth Maul."

"Copycat. He stole my idea for the two lightsaber thingy."

"Uh, Turu... hate to break this to you, but I came up with that."

"Did not"

"Did too"

"Did not"

"Did too. And I also have to deal with Darth Ruin, who a newcomer. So that's three
Darths and one bad bitch I'm fighting."

Arcturus scoffed. "I bet my bad guy can beat up your bad guys."

"Can not"

"Can too"

"Can not"

"Can too. Let's try it!"

They do. Spectre kills Maul because he's still fighting his inner demons. Spectre kills Ruin because
he's much taller than she is. Spectre kills Vader because Jadis was messing around with his glove.

Spectre and Jadis are about to kill each other when Arcturus and Kelak kill them both at the same
time.

The end!

 

That's it? Just one person? Oh well. Forward!!!!!!!!

 

I think if Adren Schilian (from just about everything Jedi I've written) met JaneJinn's Healer Leona...

 

Hmmm... If Lisa Fridel (from my fics Coruscant Academy and Here On Earth) was to meet up with someone else...
Ah, I dunno. I'm just bored, I guess. Bring it on.

 

I wonder what would happen if Calep Seth were to meet a hot Jedi chick.

I seem to remember him botching his last meeting with a pretty woman.

 

Sounds intresting. Hard to pick which character... Atreas (In the Enemy's Hands)would argue or fight any mortal being that came up to him, I don't know how Atrus (Dreams, I Promise), of the Jagaar not Aidan, if she met up with another character, intresting results. Desmona(The Hunt, Dark Dancer) would just be bloody results, since she is a vampire.

Quick question for you guys: Would you prefer if we did the matching for you or do you think you can pair up on your own?

I ask because I don't want to see a bunch of people try and get involved with this, but then get sick of it, because no match-ups get made.

There are four of you right now. Do you guys just want to match-up now?

 

I don't care who you match any of my characters up with. And now is a good a time as any to get started.

 

Or, of course, you could do it yourself... since Rokangus and I don't read every single fan fic out there...

It took me five minutes to do the Arcturus/Kelak match up, and if you're quick enought, it might take you two mins

Any volunteers out there?

 

lol, this is amazing... on the fan fic or literature forums, if you don't respond or if nobody posts within 3 days, it's a goner within the depths of the pages way back...

Calven Y'saiah wants in on this, and I trust you to match him up with someone good, Rok and Jaxx.

 

Pair Lisa up with someone. I can't find the brainpower to do it on my own.

 

Ok, Rokangus... time to put our thinking caps on... who shall we pair up Lisa with? or Calven with? hmm

I think the solution presents itself...

BTW, Darth Fruitcake, could you provide a link to the story that has Lisa in it? That would be great in helping us write her character.

As soon as we get that, we'll post a new thread in Fanfic with the interaction between the two.

EDIT: Ooops, almost missed you Neon Star. If noone else puts forward a character in the next few hours, I'll pair up Atrus with one of my own characters. Unless Jaxx wants this one.

Anyone else want to put forward a character to be paired up?
