Discussions If the Legends continuity were further expanded, what stories would you add?

Probably been mentioned in this thread already, but the Pius Dea era and the Order of the Terrible Glare have a lot of potential, the part about them in Cult Encounters was awesome

It’s a kriffing shame that all four schisms lack proper stories about them

 

The Force Unleashed 3 the story is not finished but i have my headcanon after the Force Unleashed events Vader continued searching for other apprentices leading him to eventually train Lumiya in the future

 

Late reply but... what I just do is have infinite refits, or future-proofed variants of existing designs. So Imperial IV-class, things like that. The Sequels and their TIE/FOs actually helped me with this idea.

And how to explain Legacy? Well I just view it as an in-universe 90s period, where aesthetics shifted in an extreme way... then in the 00s, we were back with nostalgia. The Foxbody Mustang being replaced by one that's a copy of the 60s Mustang in the form of the '05 Mustang means I can easily excuse the ISD replacing the PSD, and Resurgent-class replacing the Imperious-class. For X-Wings, its even easier because... they ARE muscle cars.

 

A novel about the conflict between the Ssi-Ruuvi Imperium and the Chiss Ascendancy could be interesting

 

I really want a Darth Ruin novel. Probably wouldn't have happened until TOR wrapped up but I feel its one of the greatest stories never told.

 

Fully agreed. The New Sith Wars deserved at least as much attention as the earlier old republic.

 

I think the only thing that interests me in a possible resurrection of Legends is Legacy 3 or a story where Ben Skywalker is already an adult making prequel stories to Legacy comics or maybe how SWTOR era ends but will never happen a game like that will never have an ending but i wish SWTOR could tell the origin of the New Sith Wars in some expansion

 

I would have liked stories about adult Ben, so long as he marries Vestara and has kids with her, to remove the stain of her horrid treatment in Apocalypse in Crucible.

 

The hundred year darkness is honestly such a seminal event and we know very very little about it. I mean even the pre republic era got a fully fledged novel and comic series.

The second great schism and the foundation of the Sith order? We don’t even know the names of every exile. There is a lot one could do with this-what does the galaxy like technology wise? What sort of crazy things did the schismatics get up to with force alchemy? (You could really do lots of body horror and Frankenstein monster stuff).

We need something on the hundred years’ darkness.

A series of novels, a comic series that focuses on it, something.

 

I’d love a Hundred Year Darkness multimedia project, and a follow up series about what went down on Korriban between it and the Great Hyperspace War

Having just played Bounty Hunter, I would like a novel detailing how Kasumi Vosa fell to the dark side and her story in general.

 

That gets briefly touched on in a vignette in the Essential Guide to Warfare of all places.

 

Hyperion Squad amongst the other non-Delta/Omega commando squads would be interesting to see a book or comic on.

Imagine a whole series of commando books outside of the RC storyline.

These folks have an idea! A collection of fans came together to continue the EU through fanfiction and fanart. A number of novels and short story anthologies have been produced, and many are available for fan printings so you can add them to your shelf!

more stories in the imperial commando series, written specifically by Karen Traviss. Darman's death would be legendarily good.

 

A novel or two about the Naboo Resistance in the OT would be interesting to see.

 

I would pay out the nose for a Luceno written Darth Krayt novel-that starts with A’Sharad Hett’s life on Tatooine and concludes with Legacy War(either to his death at Cade’s hands or Wyyrlok’s).

I feel like you could tie so many EU elements together like Luceno did with prequel and pre prequel EU content.
