P.Rico If we were to revive the RPG sessions, which style do you prefer?

Que tal un Imperial Only campaign? A mi se me habia ocurrido antes una idea de un elite unit o un grupo mercenario trabajando para el imperio, tomando lugar un poco antes de ANH, mientras los rebeldes no tuvieran un reconocimiento fuerte. De esta forma no se trataria tanto de un "war campaign", sino de bregar con casos especificos por diferentes lugares en el universo.

 

Suena interesante. Podrias tener personajes que sean un grupo mezclado de Stormtroopers, Scout Troopers, Imp Pilots, quizas un Imp Diplomat o algo asi. Aunque no recuerdo ver character classes asi en el rulebook.

 

Me parece una sugerencia muy interesante. Luis hizo algo parecido cuando tiro un Sith only campaign. Las personas que jugaron me han dicho que fue una experiencia diferente y disfrutaron muchisimo.

Una idea que teniamos Pedro y yo era hacer dos grupos de jugadores, unos buenos, otros malos, cada uno con su DM, pero con una historia en comun. Seria chevere explorar esta alternativa.

 

I've said it once and I say it again: "A hero is only as great as the peril he faces" In the forum SW RPG I've always played as the bad guy because most people just didn't like to take a total bad extreme. It was either TOTALLY GOODIE TOOSHOES! or the lightest shade of Gray possible. Two campaigns at the same time sound actually prety amazing. The problem will be when they finally face off against each other. From what was seen in the forum rpg most people didn't want to do anything because they where afraid that their totally made up leveless character would die. Now if they can overcome this on a dice based Rpg I would gladly sponsor either DM for the Sith campaign or play.
All in all its a great idea. Let's see if the people are up for it!

Yeah, I've always thought the idea is interesting. The two campaigns can start as independent campaigns, could even each have their own DM ("Light Side" GM and players, "Dark Side" GM and players). Then eventually at some point there will be a massive session where all the players are present and the characters show off for the culmination of the campaigns. Like Tumbark says, though, this would require the players to be willing able to part with their characters in the case where they do not survive. It would also require great coordination between the GMs, but it is doable. I'd be up for playing or GM'ing on the "Light Side" campaign. Maybe we can mix this idea with Juan's "Special Ops Strike Team" idea?

 

Ok, si hay interes, vamos a organizarnos. He estado hablando con Tumbark sobre esto, y tenemos varias ideas. Esto va a quedar cool. Siguiendo esta idea de los 2 story lines paralelos, quienes estan interesados en participar? Tienen que decidir si quieren ser parte del Dark o Light Team. Habra un maximo de 3 personas en cada equipo. Tambien, si a alguien mas le interesa ser GM, posteenlo aqui.

True I suggested 3 max per team due to the fact that it is experimental and the number is more work efficient. If it works in the future we might make the traditional 12-13 person RPG that we are all used to doing. Now let it be noted that the people that choose this MUST be commited to the pact that they make. Failure to do so will NOT BE TOLERATED.

Now with this said let the signings begin.

p.s. I want some cold blooded people for the darkside campaing, worthy of the Emperors armies.

 

Me interesa participar, pero debido al limite de 3 personas y a que solo he jugado una vez RPG creo que seria mejor dejar esta primera partida / experimento a los expertos.

En el increíble caso de que necesiten algún jugador, me interesa jugar ?Light side?. No tengo bastante experiencia como jugador para ser tan ?cold blooded? como Tumbak desea.

 

Buena idea, mantenerlo secreto que quien esta en que equipo. Aunque me temo que la gente se va a enterar anyway , envienme un PM. Ya tenemos un jugador en cada equipo (see updated msg above)!

 

Jesus, apuntate para jugar en confianza, uno nunca sabe de seguro cuanta gente se interesa a jugar en un RPG. Hoy en dia no contamos con tanta gente como antes; muchos de los que jugaban tienen muchas responsabilidades que no los dejan jugar ahora, o andan perdidos por el mundo. Desafortunadamente, ya los dias tradicionales de 12-13 personas no existen. Por esto exigo a cualquier persona que tenga el mas minimo interes para que se una a estos juegos, no importa cuanta experiencia tenga. Estos RPGs "experimentales" usualmente resultan ser mas divertidos, y mientras mas gente este para compartir la experiencia, mejor.

 

Gracias Juan, ya le envié un PM a Jan para ver si puedo participar. Procuren mencionar sobre este RPG en la reunión de este domingo para promocionarlo.
