Funerals should be a celebration of the person's life, not some pathetic sob-fest. Which is why Qui-Gon's funeral would never be played at mine.

 

Yoda's Theme. It's peaceful, soothing, and speaks volume's of how I believe and who I am.

 

Anakin's Betrayal. Nobody's getting happy at my funeral.

 

Maybe the opening music to the Fury. Kinda spooky.

 

No Star Wars music for me...Its sounds too attached to the films for me. When I think of the Force Theme I think of Luke and when I hear any of the Love themes I think Han and Leia...


But if it had to be a film score it would be 'Samwise the Brave' for 'The Two Towers'. Captures the somber tones of hopelessness (sp?) while still giving a sense of meaning to life.

And why, DarthAJ (any relation to AJ Vader, the Great Mixer?) should you want somber hopelesness at your funeral? Doesn't seem a very comforting thought for your next of kin...

 

No relations. Samwise the Brave conveys the sense of a temporary grief within the first minute or so but then it turns around and gives the listener a sense of courage for the future (in regards for a death) IMO. It is the musical experiance of "it may look bad here, but in the end all will be right" and oddly enough one of the main themes in Star Wars.

 

Ah. Well, in that case, sounds like an excellent choice!

 

I just wanted to say that this is a great thread and I have been giving serious consideration as to what my choice would be. I need to evaluate all my options before I give my final decision. Although short, I would chose Darth Vader's Death.
