DIE HARDEST Cover by Jarol-Tilap on DeviantArt
    [IMG]
Bruce Willis, Ken Watanabe and Aidan Gillen in DIE HARDEST [IMG] Well, should be in...

Die Hardest or Old Habits Die Hard was confirmed way back, but I don't believe it until I see it myself. It suppose to take place in Japan. This would be my dreamcast from left to right: Burn Gorman and Rinko Kikuchi (Pacific Rim) would be the henchmen for the main villain Gruber's son Aidan Gillen (Game Of Thrones, Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials), Chairman Ozu of the Nakatomi company would be played by Shin'Ichi Chiba (Kill Bill) and his son is Brian Tee (Jurassic World, Wolverine), Ken Watanabe (Godzilla, Inception) will be late Joseph Takagi's son. Bonnie Bedelia returns as Holly Generro, Mary Elizabeth Winstead returns as Lucy McClane, Jai Courtney returns as Jack McClane. And above them all is Bruce Willis as John McClane.

ArtStation - Cyberpunk 2077 :: Living in Kabuki, Marthe Jonkers
"Kabuki is a district in Night City that I really really like, with all the small alleyways and streets and markets! I made concepts and ideations of the little scenes that take place in the small shacks near the dam :) You can find them if you explore Kabuki!"

ArtStation - Cyberpunk 2077 :: Arroyo Streets, Marthe Jonkers
"Here is another concept for Arroyo, the industrial district in Night City, with lots of factories and lots of pollution. Palmtrees are dead, big cargo AV's fly over, dropping their containers into huge cargotowers. People wear masks to enable breathing in the toxic air, and umbrellas to protect themselves from toxic leaks. This is not the most welcoming district in Night City, for sure!"

ArtStation - Cyberpunk 2077 :: Charter Hill, Marthe Jonkers
"This is an early sketch for the district Charter Hill! We basically constructed the whole district in 3d, from which we could make multiple shots and overpaints, make fly-throughs, day and night shots, player perspective shots etc. It was really useful to figure out the layout and architecture of the districts that way! This overview was one of the shots I painted over, based on a blockout that was a collaboration between me and fellow concept artists Ward Lindhout and Joseph Noel."

"I had fun designing Judy’s apartment! I love her character (design by Martha Jackowiak). I wanted to make her apartment feel very “artistic” so I added many posters and graffiti as well, a lot of it with an underwater theme to foreshadow certain later scenes in the game :)"

ArtStation - Cyberpunk 2077 :: Badlands Community, Marthe Jonkers
"An very early development concept of the children in the Badlands :) The idea was based on how they would live in a desert-like environment: The girl in the middle wears a solar panel that powers her game device. The boy next to her is wearing a ventilation jacket to keep cool. The boy on the right uses a makeshift plastic mask to breathe better in the dusty air. The boy on the left stores his water in his jacket... I had a lot of fun doing the ideation for these!"

ArtStation - Cyberpunk 2077 :: Toxic Spill, Marthe Jonkers
"Here is a shot of my favorite district: Arroyo! Arroyo is the industrial district in Night City, lots of factories and lots of pollution. This guy is cleaning up a very toxic spill... He ended up in the game, you can find him around the Badlands as well! We were working on overpaints on early blockouts to nail down the mood and scenes in the districts. I was watching “Chernobyl” at the time so it was heavily inspired by that :)"

ArtStation - Cyberpunk 2077 :: Stormdrain Channel, Marthe Jonkers
"The design for the stormdrain channel on the border of Charter Hill. Inside is a hidden casino, in case you didn’t know! :) / [...] / Thanks to the enviro and asset teams whose assets I could use! Kudos to Michal Burnetko who made the final 3d blockout based on this concept!"

ArtStation - Cyberpunk 2077 :: Stealing the Militech tank, Marthe Jonkers
"Later in development we as a concept team worked a lot on visualizing scenes too, this is one of those! Panam is showing V the Militech tank they stole, hidden away in one of the tents. Thanks to the talented environment and vehicle teams for the fantastic assets I could use for this shot!"

ArtStation - Cyberpunk 2077 :: Kendachi Factory, Marthe Jonkers
"An early concept for the Kendachi factory! The idea was that the workers here get shards injected with a specific skillset, and they are basically cheap labor, being supervised by the Kendachi staff. Kendachi would inject different skillshards so the workers could be very versatile, but once they quit the job they would loose the shard and all the skills and knowledge that went with it."

"Some very early shots of Arroyo. We approached the district design in a holistic way, we basically built the entire district in 3d, rendered it in Octane to get different shots and times of day. It was really fun to work on Arroyo, because of the unique industrial layout and architecture there. A great collaboration with fellow concept artists Ward Lindhout and Joseph Noel!"

ArtStation - Cyberpunk 2077 :: Life in Santo Domingo, Marthe Jonkers
"Here are some concepts I made for the subdistricts of Santo Domingo: Arroyo and Rancho Coronado. We made a lot of these kind of concepts throughout the development process, to figure out the locations, views, but also the lighting and cinematic events. I really love Arroyo, one of my favorite districts, and an early idea was to have huge cargo AV's flying over with eyes on them. The second image is an early development shot of Rancho Coronado, where I wanted to emphasize the contrast with the huge megabuildings. The third shot is a visualization of a cinematic event where the player runs into an ambush in Arroyo."

Kurtis is too dumb to come up with a real supervillain name. Not that it matters.

I don't think I need to explain this 15-foot monstrosities capabilities, you can figure that out yourself. [IMG]

Kurtis is part of the HEROES franchise and is (c) me.

This femme fatale member of the Locusts can emit pheromones much like Poison Ivy to cause men to bow down to her will. Her kiss can knock you cold. And her cape can turn itno a set of lovely butterfly wings.

    Truely defines 'smexy'.

Lady Luscious is part of the HEROES() franchise and is (c) me.

The leader of the pack and the creepiest of the group. No one has seen Long Daddy's body and lived to tell about it. His deadliest weapon is emiting a hypersonic frequency that normal ears can't pick up. You coudl be fighting him for a few minutes then realize your ears are bleeding, and the sharpest pains imaginable start to wrack up inside your brain.

Came up with this fellah when I went to a photographer's exhibit. All his pictures were in the morgue.

Long Daddy is part of HEROES() and is (c) me.

Commission 45a - SA - Bug Boy by pyrasterran on DeviantArt
    [IMG]
Revisions to the Locusts for [IMG]'s Spectacular Adventures. I actually like this new look so much I will incorporate it into the real Bug Boy, and get rid of that Japanese Bug-Catcher look he had before [IMG]

    --

    Name: Adam Kerry
    Alias: Bug Boy

    Race: Genetically altered human
    Home, Nationality: Springfield, Illinois (American)

    HT: 4'5''
    WT: 80 lbs

    Hair: Black, cut short
    Eyes: Red, multifaceted
    Skin: pale green

Description: A small boy with pale green skin. He wears urbanwear, usually shorts, and sandals. Most disturbing about this cheery-looking boy is his face, which instead of eyes and eyebrows houses large red multifaceted eyes. He also has six antennae, positioned across his face. The inside of his mouth is a dark grey. He has sharp spurs across his legs. He is often seen with a backpack full of jars.

Very chipper and enthusiastic, Bug Boy is nonetheless every bit as evil as his comrades, if not more so because of his naivete, and being re-raised by Long Daddy. He laughs playfully at the pain of others and is hardly ever put in a bad mood.

Known Powers; Equipment: Bug Boy has relative flea jumping power, and moves very fast(when leaping, he is a blur). He can stick to walls just as well. Bug Boy's unique ability is his insect control. his antennae vibrate and he can control any nonsentient insects around him in an incredible distance. They obey his every command. He can boost the frequency by letting out a supersonic scream to go with it. Besides regular insects he can control just about any arthropod, from arachnids, to centipedes, etc.

Bug Boy's nervous system and brain are built similar to the other Locust members from the lab. They work on a different frequency and wave pattern than regular human brains, and as such, have defenses to direct mental attacks. Although they are not immune, it takes a while to track them down, taking longer for the less-experienced.

Although already having a regeneration factor, if he consumes large amounts of food he can regenerate even lost body parts quite rapidly. So long as his head and upper torso are more-or-less intact, he can eventually regenerate.

Bug Boy always carries a backpack filled with jars that are packed with insects. He has a large variety of bugs to choose from, including hornets, spiders, even bullet and bulldog ants.

Weaknesses: Bug Boy is very small, often times naive and inexperienced compared to his older teamates. He has very little strength and can easily be knocked out. Sudden flashes can temporarily blind and disorient him with much more effect than normal. Strong scents also are picked up at higher intakes with Bug Boy.

Origins: Kidnapped from his home like the other members of the Locusts by a secret government genetics facility, Adam Kerry was subjected to genetic experimentation and mass amounts of mutating radiation, turning him into the insect-controlling hellspawn he is now.

Broken free along with the others by Long Daddy, they escaped the lab and joined Long Daddy, forming a criminal group known as the Locusts. Having a grudge against humanity, the Locusts do pretty much whatever they want. Although they are considered low-profile, mostly because they keep to small-time jobs, they are in actuality one of the toughest criminal groups around because they have yet to be caught. Bug Boy is loving being a member of the Locusts and doing whatever he wants. He is literally and metaphorically the child of the group.

I drew him with and without pants. Which one looks better? Be honest [IMG]

    --

    Name: Kurtis (Last name unknown)

    Race: Genetically altered human
    Home, Nationality: Chicago, Illinois (American)

    HT: 15'
    WT: 1,700 lbs

    Eyes: Yellow
    Skin: Luminescent blue exoskeleton

Description: An enormous hulking monstrosity, Kurtis' body is now less man than monster. It is covered in luminescent blue insectoid armor. He is extremely muscular and has an extra, smaller pair of claws under his larger ones. His face is very uncharacteristic, as far as insects go, with a more vertebrate look.

As a practical joke, Bug Boy has fashioned pants out of a tarp and put them on Kurtis. Slow and stupid, Kurtis doesn't have much of a personality considering he can't talk. He is much like a large animal, and aggressive like one as well, but he is able to take orders from the Locusts easily for some reason. They are the ONLY beings he will take orders from and does not want to squish.

Known Powers; Equipment: With armor that is considered by many to be impenetrable, Kurtis' strength is also massive, matching his enormous appearance. He can crush a car in his jaws in a heartbeat, and flatten through concrete just as fast. However, his insect muscles also gave him terrifying speed and agility. With little needed momentum, Kurtis can clock at 150 mph. This is not including his equally impressive flight, with wings encased by protective back plates that can spread out to reveal his massive four wings that buzz as loud as a helicopter. He is also an excellent burrower.

Kurtis' nervous system and brain are built similar to the other Locust members from the lab. They work on a different frequency than regular human brains, and as such, have defenses to direct mental attacks. Although they are not immune, it takes a while to track down the right frequency, taking longer for the less-experienced.

Although already having a regeneration factor, if he consumes large amounts of food he can regenerate even lost body parts quite rapidly. So long as his head and upper torso are more-or-less intact, he can eventually regenerate.

Weaknesses: Like the other Locusts, Kurtis is very vulnerable to sudden flashes and strong scents. In some ways he can be outsmarted, as well(such as being lured into a trap).

Origins: Kidnapped from his home like the other members of the Locusts by a secret government genetics facility, Kurtis was subjected to genetic experimentation and mass amounts of mutating radiation, turning him into the giant monstrosity he is now. He was in the facility much longer than many of the other members, and as a result had time to be subjected to far more radical experimentation than the others. He does not even remember his origins anymore, his name Kurtis, labeled in his pen, the only clue given by the other members to his true origins.

Broken free along with the others by Long Daddy, they escaped the lab and joined Long Daddy, forming a criminal group known as the Locusts. Having a grudge against humanity, the Locusts do pretty much whatever they want. Although they are considered low-profile, mostly because they keep to small-time jobs, they are in actuality one of the toughest criminal groups around. Kurtis is the silent muscle of the group, doing all the heavy lifting and fighting for the other members of the Locusts.

Kamakurosuke is the full name, and I love the fact that people stumble over it [IMG]

This version of Kama comes with saw edges and big bead things.

    --

    Name: Takashi Lee
Alias: Kamakurosuke (pronounced 'kamaku-RO-skeh' for the non-Japanophiles out there)

    Race: Genetically altered human
    Home, Nationality: Hong Kong

    HT: 6'11''
    WT: 187 lbs

    Eyes: Yellow, large
    Skin: yellow/light green exoskeleton

Description: A tall, lanky humanoid covered in light-yellow-green insect armor. His head is almost exactly like that of a praying mantis. He wears a navy-blue martial artist's gi, sleeveless, and brown wooden beads. His shoulders are very broad. He sports a pair of insect wings behind him, attached to his shoulders. Connected to his wrists are long chitin blades, much like those of a mantis'. Covers are able to slide over most of his eyes for protection during combat.

Very honest and strangely noble, Kamakurosuke is soft-spoken and very much the strong silent time. He has the greatest sense of honor compared to the rest of the team.

Known Powers; Equipment: Kamakurosuke has dabbled in many different martial arts which, combined now with his powerful and fast insect body, make him a dangerous melee fighter.

Kamakurosuke's body has been suited perfectly for his combat skills. Aside from flight and his many extrasensory senses being insectoid, he is also much stronger and faster than the average man, able to clock 60 mph on foot, and lift a car. Most notable of his powers is his ability to store energy in his body and exert it in a blindingly fast display of speed, so fast he becomes invisible to the naked eye and as fast(sometimes faster) as a bullet. This speed, combined with his retractable wristblades(its joints are the strongest portion of his body, and swing the blades outwards just as fast), makes him a deadly assassin of many. Kamakurosuke's wristblades are spring-retractable, able to swing forward and back, leaving a blur to the naked eye. They are sharp enough to penetrate steel. The spines can also extend to a saw-like effect.

Kamakurosuke's nervous system and brain are built similar to the other Locust members from the lab.

Weaknesses: Like the other Locusts, Kamakurosuke is very vulnerable to sudden flashes and strong scents. His honor-bound soul means he is the most likely to sacrafice his life for the sake of the others.

Origins: A cinema martial artist, disgusted with the lack of effectiveness of martial arts bred for movies, Takeshi Lee, born of Japanese and Chinese parents, moved from Hong Kong up into the mountains to train in martial arts with the true martial artists. Satisfied with what he had learned, he looked to America, seeking to open a school and start a martial arts revolution. However, upon arriving and settling in he was captured along with other members of the Locusts by a secret government genetics facility. Lee was subjected to genetic experimentation and mass amounts of mutating radiation, turning him into the mantis-bred assassin he is now.

Kamakurosuke feels he owes Long Daddy his continued existence, and hence joined the Locusts on the premise of being forever in his debt.

The Spectacular Adventures version of the sultry Lady Luscious. Defining features of this one are a different face and long hair.

NOTE: She is more voluptuous than I drew her here.. I just wasn't caring to make the effort at the time [IMG]

    --

    Name: Mary Delgado
    Alias: Lady Lucious

    Race: Genetically altered human
    Home, Nationality: Chicago, Illinois (American)

    HT: 5'10''
    WT: 130 lbs

    Hair: Red, long
    Eyes: purple
    Skin: Light grey

Description: A very voluptuous woman, full of girth in all the right places. Her skin is a light grey, and she wears a suggestive black one-piece with matching gloves and thigh-high stockings. Her bio-cape morphs into a colorful pair of butterfly's wings. Most notable are her facial features, set with markings and a pair of butterfly antennae atop her head. Covering her ears are large glassy blue orbs.

Your typical sultry femme fatale, she's flirty and promiscuous and will use her feminine wiles to her advantage at any given time. She is seen as a sister/mother to the other Locusts, as the Locusts do care for one another. Because Luscious has received the least amount of experimentation, her mind is the less flayed of the group.

Known Powers; Equipment: Lady Luscious' bio-cape can morph into a large pair of colorful butterfly wings, and can cover her to protect her from most moderate attacks, even small arms fire.

Lady Luscious was designed to be irresistible to the senses, and thanks to her incredibly focused pheromone scent she is that kind of woman despite anyone's true preferences. Simply being near her without some kind of protection to her scent is intoxicating, and once trapped under her spell she could have you do whatever she wants. Lady Luscious' kiss penetrates flesh, and can knock a person out like a heavy tranquilizer. The members of the Locusts are unaffected by her presence, possibly a defense added during their experimentation.

Lady Luscious' cape-wings can dump large clouds of spores into the air, that are suffocating to breathe in and poisonous to boot. Without treatment, the spores could even be fatal. The members of the Locusts are unaffected by her spores.

Lady Luscious' nervous system and brain are built similar to the other Locust members from the lab. They work on a different frequency than regular human brains, and as such, have defenses to direct mental attacks. Although they are not immune, it takes a while to track down the right frequency, taking longer for the less-experienced.

Although she already has a regeneration factor, ff she consumes large ammounts of food, she can regenerate lost bodyparts. So long as her head and upper torso are more-or-less intact, she can eventually regenerate.

Unlike the other Locusts, Luscious is not particular vulnerable to scents or lights.

Hidden in her gloves are "tear-mace" gloves. With a special, unique movement of her wrists and fingers she can spray a close-contact cloud of chemicals with the effects of teargas and mace combined.

Weaknesses: Lady Luscious' body has no physical defenses beyond human.

Origins: Kidnapped from her home like the other members of the Locusts by a secret government genetics facility, Mary Delgado was subjected to genetic experimentation and mass ammounts of mutating radiation, turning her into the dominating femme fatale she is now.

Lady Luscious often acts like second-in-command, but only because, compared to the other members of the Locusts, she is the only other character with such leadership skills. Truth be told, if anything were to happen to Long Daddy she would indeed become the leader.

    Name: Unknown
    Alias: Long Daddy

Race: Assumed genetically altered human corpse
Home, Nationality: Chicago, Illinois (Assumed American)

    HT: 6' not including spider-legs
WT: 180 lbs not including legs

    Hair: Unknown
    Eyes: Unknown
    Skin: Unknown

Description: Long Daddy's actual body is never seen. It is wrapped in white cloth, much like a body bag, bound together with strong metal/plastic bonds. What does appear, however, are long spindly insect limbs. No one knows what exactly is inside the body bag.

The enigmatic Long Daddy is as beatnik as his name could apply. He says 'dig it' and 'square' and 'cool cats', and has the frog in his throat to make it work. However, he is the most sinister of the group, not afraid to kill anyone for his own purposes. If there was any hope in rehabilitating the Locusts, Long Daddy is beyond saving.

Known Powers; Equipment: Long Daddy's long legs can lift him up approx 20 feet in the air maximum. They are fast, extremely tough, and can pierce concrete and steel easily, as well as being multi-jointed for better dexterity. They can fold back in a bunch behind Long Daddy, but he almost never does this(they are still so long that they drag on the floor behind him, and because of his body bag he cannot walk without them anyway)

Long Daddy can emit a hypersonic frequency that Long Daddy can emit, it is not detectable to the human ear, but it still induces one of the worst pains one can feel. It is especially effective on those with sensitive hearing. Because it emits no sound, it is very easy to be caught offguard with, and to those who don't know where it is coming from it can feel like Long Daddy is simply killing you with a thought, adding to his creepy pressence. The members of the Locusts are unaffected by his sonic attack, possibly a defense added during their experimentation. It can be defended against with protection of the ears(but nothing superficial like covering your ears with your hands). If Long Daddy wants to, he an exert himself and release a sonic pulse that shatters glass and can cause people around him to drop dead with blood pouring from their orifices.

Long Daddy's nervous system and brain are built similar to the other Locust members from the lab. They work on a different frequency than regular human brains, and as such, have defenses to direct mental attacks. Although they are not immune, it takes a while to track down the right frequency, taking longer for the less-experienced.

Long Daddy's regeneration factor is beyond those of the other Locusts. He can regenerate his whole being from just a leg if need be, and infact, if a body part were to be detached, it would soon grow limbs, a mind of its own, and return to Long Daddy by any means necessary. Because of Long Daddy's mysterious physiology, he can be shot, stabbed, beaten and burned and he will get right back up.

Like the other Locusts, he can regenerate even faster than he already can by consuming large amounts of food. However, as an added bonus, his body will process the genetics from whatever he eats and build them into his own, taking strong genes to further enhance his own strength and durability. Long Daddy is the one member that can get stronger exponentially overtime, and it is possible he may even evolve new abilities as time goes by.

Weaknesses: Long Daddy has no known weaknesses.

Origins: Long Daddy is thought to be the first to have undergone experimentation from the members of the Locusts. This is supported by the fact that he died during experimentation. However, he seemed to be reborn as something else, escaping from the morgue of the facility and releasing the other experiments. Leading them to kill everyone in the facility and escape, he formed them together as the Locusts.

Thought to have a grudge against humanity, the Locusts do pretty much whatever they want. Although they are considered low-profile, mostly because they keep to small-time jobs, they are in actuality one of the toughest criminal groups around. Long Daddy is the sinister leader of the group, and no one in the group defies him, although Lady Luscious has shown the most resilience at times. Long Daddy's true aspirations are unknown.
