Looks like brain neurons.
It does, doesn't it? I am a practical sciency person, but I have this thing for patterns and such. It is an interesting thing that the natural structures of the Universe resemble the structure of the brain.
I always loved the concept art for the film version of Blade Runner. Why it didn't win the Oscar for Art Direction that year is beyond me.
Ran across this rummaging through old Marvel Handbooks.

I'm fairly certain that is TOS safe since I have posted it before. This is by Herbert Draper. It is called Lament For Icarus. It is one of a couple of my favorite paintings. It is as tall as a grown male and valued at $950,000. It sits in a museum in Europe that I tried to get Jenn to visit but she apaprently never did. Phhht.
It's awesome, I love that painting.
I know it's not "deep" art, but I want this on a T-shirt.
