The Mandalorian Imperial Remnants & the First Order

I think Thrawn, Gideon First Order/Final Order are all different splinter groups of an empire that was massive in size of force.

 

Today, in the youtube channel of StarWars Meg, i heard the most bizarre fan theory/rumour: that Imperial Comm Officer ( played by Kate Obrian) that works with Gideon is actually

Her name thusd far was never said/revealed and people who tinks an actress like , specialist in martial arts and many guest appearences in shows like TWD, could be playing a major player in the series.

More seriously, since I checked out the video, the argument seems to hinge on the Rebels epilogue taking place before Mando. If it doesn't, which is a distinct possibility, I would assume Sabine is still on Lothal. So having her infiltrating Gideon's crew would take a fair amount of explanation. I think the point about the actress is solid, as is the one that Bo-Katan and Boba have already appeared. I still think Sabine would also have a stake in retaking/restoring Mandalore; I just don't see how she makes her entrance.

Its creative and out've the box. Who knows. But I do agree that woman is a martial artist, so I would think she fights. Maybe an actual Imperial and fights Cara Dune or something at some point,lol.

 

It's not creative and if it's out of the box, it's out of the wrong one.

 

It seems to me that The Mandalorian is slwoly building the origins of the first order and Snoke. I think Gideon is apart of the final order.

 

I'm still going with the assumption until proven otherwise that there are other Imperial Remnants beyond Gideon, the proto-First Order, and Thrawn. Including some large ones in the known galaxy. It's implied in Lost Stars and the Aftermath book that there's still a large Imperial presence in the core and fragments elsewhere, too; furthermore, we know that the Galactic Concordance didn't actually require the remaining Empire to dissolve but rather to get rid of its Stormtroopers and pay reparations. Factions like Gideons aren't necessarily the only ones that remain on the NR radar but rather the ones not playing by the rules.

 

With all their defeats and casualties its a wonder how that occured,lol.

As for O'Brian's character she seemed to have vanished the last episode, unless she was one of the dead officers on the bridge. But I don't recall seeing her there at the end. She was also making strange faces during her scenes when talking to the shuttle( was she deep deep cover Sabine? ). Maybe she rescues Gideon or takes his place in the confusing Orders of Skeevy Sheevy Plapy.

yeah, probably the one Fennec shot in the back . These troopers are the dumbest fodder I've ever seen, as bad as the Spaceball troopers whom Lucasfilm seems to be imitating.
