The proximity to the original films doesn't really dictate the potential origins of the macguffin- see the Sankara Stones in TOD, for instance.

Definitely not, though I do imagine that if they are going for that timeframe, they are likely doing so in order to capture that same sense as RotLA and TLC of going up against Nazis as they quest for an object that will give them the ultimate power that they desire.

Only time will tell for sure, though!

Although I would guess it probably points towards the obvious nostalgia play of some kind of mystical artifact rather than aliens.

In the little teaser they released Indy has written notes on a map of the Vatican City, so I think it’s a decent bet that location at least factors into the story.

The Vatican does have a lot of secrets. That’s not even in a conspiracy way. They just have a whole ass archives.

I mean, if someone told me there was an old Indiana Jones games for the Nintendo 64 set entirely in archives and hidden chambers under the Vatican, I wouldn’t even question it. It’s a great setting for an Indy game.

Not true, Harrison Ford is in the Force Awakens Lego game. In fact most of the cast are in that game Rey, Finn, Poe, Leia, Kylo & Phasma are all there.

Yeah but using stuff from the films. He doesn't come in to record for non film stuff.

Nope, he actually came in and recorded new dialogue. When I first heard it I thought it must have been outtakes or deleted scenes. Turns out they got everyone to come in and read new lines.

Must have made that part of their film contract then. He's never done that before. Maybe they can put something in the Indy 5 contract about voicing the game...

I’m really hoping it’s for both Xbox and PlayStation. That’s my only concern concern right now.

So when you said "never", you meant, "for one thing."

The voices in those are not Harrison Ford.

I’d like it set in the classic ROTLA-TOD era timeline. But as long as the gameplay and story is solid I won’t be complaining.

I happen to know someone who works at Bethseda who has leaked out a little glimpse of what to expect.

It seems the developers have been reading this forum a little too closely.

Obviously that meant vocal likeness, boy were we silly in thinking otherwise.

is this your uncle, who used to work at Nintendo?
