    I thought that Spaceballs was remarkably unfunny. I had to force myself to watch it all the way through. Monty Python and the Holy Grail I?ve watched so often that the tape is starting to wear out. There?s no comparison at all. One is funny, one is just stupid.

    I've seen Spaceballs once and laughed (it was pretty funny), but I have no intention on watching it again for a while. Monty Python, on the other hand, I can watch again... and again... and again... and it's still funny.

    This is tough for me. I love both Spaceballs and Monty Python. Though to be quite honest I saw Spaceballs a few years before I ever saw the other.

    I refuse to answer this, it isn't even specified which Monty Python material we are talking about.

    Now if we were to compare Monty Python (comedy troupe) to Second City (another comedy troupe), or Mel Brooks (director/writer) to Terry Jones (director/writer), or Spaceballs (film) to Life of Brian (film) that is one thing....but to compare one specific film to any of a comedy troupe's films (or the troupe itself) is completely unfair.

    The term "comparing apples to oranges" comes to mind, and to sum it up IMHO this poll needs some rework. :p
