Is there a software...?

I need to print some topic here, but there are A lot of pages.

Is there a program to go through every page, then print ONLY people's names, and their posts?


NO banners, graphics, nor any other headers or footers?

Acrobat. You can either turn the images off in your browser, or in Acrobat.
You need to set Acrobat to follow through the thread taking out the text from each page of posts.

No, I am just printing these pages to read leisurely, nothing copyright to worry about.

But, acrobat?

 

Yes, acrobat would be your best choice.

I'm pretty sure printing pages off for your own reading is still a breach of copyright, but I'm no lawyer........However, if no-one knows you are doing it, then I doubt it matters.

I think he was questioning if that was the right software to use.

I'm not sure, but perhaps you could enter the URL of the opening page of any given thread (eg http://boards.theforce.net/Communications/b10006/19291098/ in the case of this thread), set the number of pages you want to go through (ie the number of pages of the thread), then save the text in a structured format (ie making it easy to read)
