Is this a Bothan ?

Maybe this has been brought up before but I couldn't find it on this board. When Obi-Wan observes the Separatists, there is a creature left of Dooku (next to Gunray) that you cannot see very clearly. But WHAT is visible reminds me much of a Bothan's look in the EU.
Does anybody know who that is?

 

It was supposed to be Toonbuck Toora, but GL had it changed in post because he didn't like the bland look that the costume was giving off.

That sepratist is named Rogwa Wodrata. I forget the species name.

 

All I know is that many Bothans died to bring us this information on "Gator-head".

 

Rogwa Wodrata is a female Holwuff.

 

On a subject of Bothans, I have a strong feeling we will see them make an appearance in Episode III.

Actually, there are at least two versions of a Bothon's appearence.

There's the one on the cover of Spector of the Past.

Then there's the one in the computer game "Rebellion."

I think there's a third as well.

And various EU books describe them differently.

When I had to describe Fey'la, I as pterry vague, because we don't know for sure what one looks like.

I'm hoping we'll see one in Episode III and settle the matter.

 

Bothans have varying races among their species, just like humans do.

 

Yes, that is a Bothan in E2 at the table during the seperatists meeting. Kindof a horse face looking species. There is an animated picture in one of the charcter guides, but they make it look more like an elf. But, like gungans, there are big bothans & little bothans.
