Issue 06 of Starfire's Rebel Log is Out!

Issue 06 is FINALLY here and man was it worth the wait! We've got tons of Tatooine and Young Jedi including TFN exclusive spoilers from Young Jedi Reflections!!. Oh yeah, and did I mention there's Jedi Knights stuff too. And after you eat all that up, for dessert we've got a report from RamapoCon 3, State Championship reports, and...Jerbas?! Lots of great stuff for everyone.

Well done on a comprehensive issue. Red, you are swaying me on the Anakin issue.

I liked the thorough article on deck designs.

Sorry, Red, I had to give it a "4", just 'cuz I don't agree with you on the Anakin issue. Now if you had let me write the Anakin article, I woulda given you a "6"!

 

Write up a counterpoint and I'll stick it in the Galactic Senate next issue...

I want to get away from DeckTeck anyway. ugh

 

I gave it a four because it still has ugly CCG section grafics.

 

Okay, graphics aside how was the content?

(And I tried to get the graphics changed...but well, they haven't done them yet. that's not my department.)

 

Content was great.

 

Even I thought it was good Josh. And you know if I give you credit for something it has to be good.

 

What did you think of the Star Wars Experience Article Gadget?

 

Read it and think a very good selection of articles, more decks is the only think I can suggest, you could have decks with less than ten rares for example

 

Hmmmm, do you have one you could submit?

 

It was a very good article Jedikynes. Oh, and Josh, if you really want decks with low amounts of rares (or decks of any kind) just let me know. I can make some sick, cheap decks when I need to.

 

Hello all.. I'm new to theforce.net.
Was wondering what poeple thought about my article on deck construction. I am always looking to make improvements on it...

 

Gadget: Sure send them along. The next issue should be out around the third week of July.

Hunter: I believe BigPoppaJabba like the article (if you scroll up) I also thought that it was very well written and organized...which is essential for any article targeted to teh begnning or novice audience.

 

What do you think about the Coruscant Celebration article?

 

The Coruscant Celebration article is good because it start you thinking about possible deck types after the new set comes out. The main disavantage now is the lack of battlegrounds for Coruscant. Something that is sure to change in the new set.

IMO, Coruscant Celebration is not what's going to make a Coruscant deck good. That will depend almost entirley on the new cards and the advantages they offer.

It would be interesting to see a revised version of the article once a few relevant spoilers hit the 'net!
