Wait, I thought egg in fried rice was pretty standard. Pineapple I’m more skeptical on, I dunno, maybe if it was spam fried rice.

 

I know egg fried rice is pretty standard here in the UK. I also like Special Fried Rice, which is a little bit of everything (chicken, beef, shrimp. egg, pork, etc).

So thanks to this thread I bought a container of Special Fried Rice at the supermarket this morning. It might be lunch later in the week - is in the freezer now.

 

Oh yeah, no, the eggs have got to be cooked in the process, you do them up in the wok right before adding the rice. Ex post facto eggs (eggs post facto?) are no good.

I'm relatively alright; heading out of the house for work in little over an hour, despite this usually being a night off for me... schedule was changed slightly this week, and well, that stinks. Dodgers season begins this month on the 26th! They should win their division again, which would be the 8th-in-a-row, but I await the inevitable postseason heartbreak.

Well, I showed up like 3 hours after the family ate dinner. I believe the idea was that I would reheat the rice. But I didn’t wanna, cause eew.
