Prairie It's lonely on the plains... isn't anybody in Saskatchewan right now?

For a town that had a three-day line up for TPM tickets, wrapped around the theatre (I was third in line! Yup... fanboy on the premises ), I sure expected there to be a larger online presence from Regina or Saskatoon SW fans. But alas, I have found few if any comrades in arms. I think I may weep openly.

 

This is seriously depressing. There are approximately 1,000,000 people in Saskatchewan, and it seems that I'm the only one that:
a)Likes Star Wars
b)Has a computer
c)Visits and posts to this forum

I'm one in a million. I always thought that would be a better feeling

This is my first visit to the FanForce sections. I honestly didn't think I'd find anyone here.

It must be nice to have your faith in Saskatchewan restored. I was afraid you'd start in on Tatooine comparisons or worse!

I knew it wouldn't take long for the Tatooine comparisons Truthfully, though, tell me you've never stood alone in a field, watching the sun sink into a golden sea of wheat, with John Williams "Force" theme playing in your head, and been reminded of another restless farmboy, longing for adventure just like you, in a galaxy far far away...

I know I sure as heck haven't!

I have a question for you. do any of you play SWCCG? if so you should go to Dragon's Den on 8th St. in Saskatoon, and check out our SW tourney's. lots of SW fun.

there's a SW tourney this Saturday May 19th, at 12:00. so show up and i'm sure someone will teach you or welcome you. i probably won't be there this week, but i usually am

i'm a Saskatonian!!!!!!!!! just discovered this place . . . i know tons of people who could join this, but they're all lazy butts.

HEy. I'm from saskatchewan too. Just ask the poster formerly known as Rougenull{RogueNull now} I think that if you live in Saskatoon You should check out Tramps Comics. They have some good star wars books and comics.

 

I was born and raised in Alberta, and that is where I currently live. But when I was in grade 12 I went to private school in Rosthern, Saskatchewan. I'll tell you that was one of the funnest years in my life. Sure it was a little cold compared to Southern Alberta, but the good company in Saskatchewan didn't make it seem so bad.

 

Welcome to you both! Tchewey, we've got a Tramps here in Regina too. Good selection, but they've got almost no competition, so their prices are insane. I used to know the general manager there, and while he's a nice guy, he'd do anything for a buck. It's sad, but Tramps is the reason I don't read comic books anymore...
