Its March, have you gotten your tickets in the mail yet?

This is just a thought concerning the HS lanyards. They might be shipping them seprately due to them having to link up with the OS to confirm who really is a member. Maybe it takes more time to process that end of it. Again, this is just a thought and can be completely off from what is really going on.

Hopefully, they'll fix this within the next few weeks!

 

I just recieved my stuff in the mail and everything was correct: two 4-day passes, a lanyard and four family passes. So they are getting some orders right....

 

My order was pretty simple:

1 HS member 4-day adult badge with lanyard.

2 non-HS member 4-day adult badges.

1 DV topper.


it gets here ok.

 

Mail just went and still no pass. I hope that it comes by the end of next week because we should start moving to our new house. And it would suck if it arrived at our old house.

For all these people who are not getting the vader topper, did you pay the extra for postage?....just wondering why so many not getting one.

 

Yes, you paid like $2.95 shipping and handling for the topper. Maybe they ran out??

 

I knew you had to pay extra for the postage of it...I was thinking maybe some people did not realise that and thought that all people who paid for the 4 day pass got one for free with no extra postage.

 

I wonder if anyone forgot to check the box for the topper, just assuming one would be sent. It could have happened. There has to be at least one person here who did. Getting them to step up & admit it may be another matter.


EDIT: D'oh! Sorry, Woppo. I guess great minds run in the same rut.

 

They actually screwed up my order for the better. I received the Hyperspace lanyard and I am not a Fan Club/Hyperspace member. At least I will now be able to enjoy the empty fan club lounge

Plus, I ordered the day before the dealine to have it shipped. I hope this isn't an indicator for how CIII is run.

 

Like last time? I was disappointed by the lounge last time too.

I rather of had the oppurtunity to order a non-member lanyard than some stupid topper. Just stupid.

The packages were shipped from Seattle WA. Mine is postmarked for March 15

 

got mine in today's mail not 20 minutes ago.

surprisingly, they sent mine AND my wife's, despite ordering mine on day one and hers just 4 weeks ago.

That's what I'm thinking too. I've sent two emails to two GenCon addresses and still haven't got an answer.

This is begining to scare me a little bit. I can not believe all the mix ups. GenCon knew so many people were going to this show. Maybe they should have started to sell the passes sooner, and closed registration sooner so they would have more time to get all the orders right. I mean, we pay all this money, and they can't even get the right order to you??

Here's hoping mine comes soon. I live in Canada, so I had to have it shipped to my parents in Oregon...then have to express it to me up here...gosh I hope it gets there soon [-o|

This is my first GenCon convention, and so far I am not to happy to hear about all the mix ups. I feel bad for you guys. Plus the fact that this is all happening so close to the show! The least they could do is send it express!!
