JCC ITT we complain about our 1st world problems...

I know, right? My theater had a rule that if a child was younger than 6, they couldn't see an R rated movie, even accompanied by an adult. Personally, the age limit with parental escort should be no younger than 12.

Of course, not all R rated movies are equally rated, but like you said, this was an R-rated horror movie.

 

The Tech "Oooh Shiny" feeling is soooooo strong. So very close to pulling the trigger on the Asus Zenbook 30th edition (and I hate Rose Gold )..

Even worse are the parents who park young children in the cinema (regardless of the film rating) while they go shopping. Some of us would rather see the film than hear your brats making noise, especially if it's not an obvious kids film like Frozen, for example. Also into this circle of hell should go anyone who looks at a phone or other device once the film has started.

 

I can't wait to go to an Alamo Drafthouse so I won't have to worry about talking or texting while watching a movie.

Now if there was a movie that warranted me going out of my way to the Drafthouse, great.

 

I wish my local Vue had some of those rules I saw in the Wiki entry on Alamo Drafthouse.

 

An hour of Googling and I can't find a Marvel Cyclops t-shirt I like.

 

Alamo is indeed awesome for its strict rules.

Went to the pharmacy at 8, turns out they don't open 'till 10 on Sundays.

 

That has been a recent issue for me, with fast food takeaways, stores, and laundrettes, and I have encountered surprising success seeing if they have an online presence, either by directly typing their name/location into Google, or doing store locators on franchise websites, and seeing if I can learn if it is worth leaving the house.

Just went and looked that up.

Went ahead and replaced the slippers that decided to fall apart after three months via Amazon again. Their Muk Luks, so hopefully they'll last longer than these did.

 

I didn't think anyone was coming last night to my Game Night, so I decided to finish my gin/vodka tonic mixings. Nope, people showed up. Oops.

 

I don't know how mom and I generate so MUCH garbage, but we do. And now I have to take it out.

 

I was thinking of melting some dark chocolate chips and pouring it over some warm chocolate chip cookies. But I thought it would be easier to condense all my steps. So I put the cookies in a "microwave safe" plastic bowl and dumped the chocolate chips over them. I placed them in the microwave and set them for 20 seconds. The cookies were warm, but the chips hadn't melted. So I went up to 40 seconds.

Now my entire apartment smells like melted plastic.

 

All in one hour:

I was delivering 65 boxes to a store and it turned out to be 138 boxes.
I got a drink of water from my bottle which was in the cab of a truck, as soon as I closed the door I realized it was locked and the keys were sitting on the seat.
While finishing said delivery and waiting for a locksmith my phone rang and normally I do not answer unknown numbers. But I figured the locksmith might not know where I am sitting so I answered. It's a collection agency for a hospital bill I thought I paid $138 out the door.

 

Got a call asking me to reschedule a doctor's appointment while I was in the grocery store.

Last night I discovered a terrific show on Amazon called Patriot , there are 18 episodes but my amazon membership runs out tomorrow.

 

The AC Odyssey educational Discovery Tour is out, and I'm at home, but I have to work. I wanna learn about Ancient Greece

 

Been there too. My new shredder actually has a built in cool down mechanism so it won't overheat and break. It didn't take long to trigger that and have to wait 30 minutes to continue.
