JCC ITT we complain about our 1st world problems...

I think my original question was more rhetorical than literal, what I mean is I have no idea how much time I'm likely to spend doing this, just to return something they sent by mistake - and I don't even know they'd miss it if I don't contact them.

 

Amazon UK once sent me a printer cartridge I didn't order. When I phoned their number they said to keep it. Unfortunately it didn't fit the printer I had at the time so I just tossed it.

 

I've absolutely no use for what they sent me by mistake. Not by a long shot

 

Some 20-year-old told me I look younger than my age. I didn't realize I needed to look younger!

 

I have "We Built This City on Rock and Roll" stuck in my head.

 

If that's my job, where's the paycheck?

Has anyone else had a cashier run what looks like someone else's credit card thru the card reader right before ringing you up?

I'm not sure if this is perfectly normal or some kind of new scam I don't know about. I've already locked my card just as a precaution.

The card she used looked like one of those AA advantage cards.

Anyone else think this is fishy?

 

My short international nightmare is over: I found a reasonable flight connecting through Zurich. Unfortunately because it's through Zurich I'll have to leave my phone on airplane mode! Truly this is the new hell.
