Got a jury questionnaire which says it's not a summons, but after you send one in you get a summons.

My inability to understand time zones made me miss the fun event during work hours yesterday. I blame the MCU time storylines now, because yes.

I've been called for jury duty twice in the last few years. Both times I've gotten instructions to call a number after 5pm on a Sunday night to find out if I need to show up. Both times I've gotten notices indicating I don't have to show up BEFORE I ever made that call. Weird but I'll take it.

 

I’m back in the office for the first time in over a year.

Checked Comixology for Mike Grell and Dan Jurgens Green Arrow 27 & 28 and nope. Every other GA 27 published in the last decade plus is on there, but this is such a fun and funny story (with a guest appearance by Travis Morgan whom every criminal mistakes for Ollie)...I really felt like drawing these two tonight and digital would have helped a lot.

Thank goodness, I still have them in hard copy...but...

At first I wondered where the phone call I was taking but which did not result in an actual connection was coming from.
Then I looked up the number I was called from, and was reminded it used to belong to someone I know is dead.
Then I called back, wondering whether it had been someone from his family still using the phone and attempting to call, or a coincidence and someone else entirely but happening to have the same number.
Then I heard the message informing me that the number I called back was not attributed, and realized it had really been a call centre hiding behind proxies to pretend their number was that of a dead man

 

My roof leaks when it rains. I haveta set out cups. Or whatever I can find. Kitchen floor's wet.
