Anyway, it's still freezing in Melbourne. The days have gotten longer and sunnier but not warmer, dammit.

What do you all expect for this time of year?

 

The solution is simple; keep your car running overnight. The greenhouse effect will do the rest. We'll be sunning the sandy shores during July in no time!

 

I don't have a car.

And you'd pay a fortune in gas, too.

 

... I think I'll stick with my blankie.

 

Wee in a hot water bottle, keep warm and save water at the same time

 

and when it's no longer warm, pour it out on your lemon tree: they love the urea, and your lemons will be the better for it!

As long as im not digging my car out 20 times a winter from 3-6 feet of snow-im happy. It just sucks that i may have to go back to the Colorado mountains in a couple of years. You guys are so lucky down here weather wise-at least to me.

 

If you like snow up to 9 months a year-you'll love it.


.....and from what I saw from his shows there not much he wouldnt do, so that saying alot about Mr Irwin.

 

I like snow, but I wouldn't want to live in that stuff.

 

I like it all..cold, warm, hot etc. Drizzle annoys me though

 

anything but massive amounts of snow and im ok-its been wierd having your first non-white christmas in a long long time. I kinda enjoyed going to the beach and having a BBQ on Christmas though.

 

The reason I love Melbourne so much is that it's cold for a lot of the year. I hate the heat. Love sunshine. Hate the heat.

 

Melbourne is where is all happens in OZ. Brisbane is one huge amusement park and Sydney is still living in the 50s

 

everyone at work always tells me, "if you dont kike the weather wait 5 minutes it'll change". Im starting to see that-it can rain then be sunny, then windy then sunny again, and then of course rain again. kinda keeps you your toes.

 

I love a slow steady rain, the kind with no wind behind it. Or the light rain on a sunny day that is a little bit warm.
