    Honestly I've only been on one date ever. It was horrible. I never did it again. There are easier ways to find people.

    Online dating helps to find people. But of course its up to you to weed the wrong ones out.

    oh and don't stop searching. If you can't find one for a while take a brake and work on yourself. Then jump back in.

    I'd also say, don't drive yourself mad if it doesn't work out. Who knows, she could end up becoming Mrs Interwebs, or it could go nowhere. The important thing is you're getting in the game, and taking risk, which is the overall positive to take from it. The other thing in your favour is that there'll be plenty more opportunities where this came from. There's no stigma around online dating anymore, and it does tend to facilitate chance a lot more than say, hanging around in bars, or waiting for your pals to hook you up with their girlfriend's single mate.

    Very much so. I hoped I wouldn't have to mention this, but I suppose it should be reinforced. If you intend to have a water-based date, you should limit to discussion only to non-native locales for the two participants.
