Phantom Menace in 3D

Everton and I will be seeing this. We will go to Everton's cinema of choice, and he will drive

Hats

Many hats were discussed including Fezzes, Stetsons, Top Hats, and Deerstalkers. I regaled a story of a lady wearing a hat in a cinema, and we concluded that Lincoln was assassinated because he refused to take his hat off in the theatre

Poop

We were both disappointed with the pile of full nappy bags in the pub's toilet

Dani

I do not know who Dani is, but I think she had scampi for lunch yesterday. Everton said a steak sandwich then started going off on all the side dishes she had. I got bored and told him to stop

halibut didn't update the Doctor Who thread as he didn't want to face up to the fact that Closing Time didn't win. He would not put a keylogger on Everton's phone as he is not well versed in Apple programming

Plane crashes

I suggested the Munich plane crash which wasn't well received by Everton. So I changed that to the crash from Lost. Everton's favourite is Starbug crashing in Marooned

The Move

Everton asked if the Move is imminent. I said yes

Jello's absence

As we reminisced about cognac, cheese, and other things beginning with c, time slowed down to a crawl

Spermicidal Lubricant

We pondered the possibility that Tim Burton's batmobile had a coating of spermicidal lubricant on the nosecone. It probably didn't

Candles, champagne, and lavender-scented bath beads

We agreed that candles were useful items, whereas champagne is overrated. Everton prefers an Asti, and I prefer a sweeter wine. And whilst we both prefer baths, neither of us like bath beads, or any other kind of beads

Puppies

We held hands and agreed that puppies are cute. It was not a long conversation

John Terry

A long discussion was had and whilst we both agree that Terry should not be captain, I felt the FA handled it wrong whilst Everton thinks they handled it correctly

Everton's money for players

I naively suggested that the money came from Arteta's sale, but Everton corrected me in naming some Russian bloke. I lost interest.


george_roper

We discussed roper and his contribution to RICHARDSONS. It was appreciated


Man U > all other teams

Man U were only better than all other teams when they won the treble.


DOTJ

I assumed this was Day of the Jackal so we talked about that. Everton had not read the book or seen the film. However much hilarity ensued when a slip of the tongue led us to consider what The Jackal would be like with Bruce Forsyth in the lead role. Nice to shoot you, to shoot you nice.


Everton's shirt

Whilst he was not wearing his infamous button up shirt, he predictably wore his Sherlock T-Shirt underneath his jumper thingy



I had lager, Everton had cider.


Everton likes the Oscars. I don't. That was a fun discussion
