JCC ITT YOU SUGGEST BABY NAMES

Having sat through like a decade's worth of students at this point, literally every take on names is a bad one. Distinctive names are hard to remember, and non-distinctive names blend into a morass of 15 other people with basically the same name. The only correct solution is to name your child a mildly amusing sentence, like "People Like Grapes I Guess McEdwards III", but cowardly parents refuse to do this for some reason.

 

What's wrong with Remington? That's the name of a sterling chap I'd happily go hunting for pheasant with.

 

Imagine naming your kid Atlas and he turns out to be a fat kid? The bullies will call him Globe-y and he'll either kill himself or shoot them all.

Paul and John. Two good names for a baby. Not Jon or Jawn or Jonathan or Jonathon.

Could go eastern with Isis or Osiris.

Then there's Gilgamesh or Ishtar.

I wonder if your kids would get annoyed or appreciate it later in life if you gave them a cool name, like those Gods someone mentioned before.

But I don’t need to be thinking about that. At this rate my kids will have kids before I do.

It's not hard. I picked a name that wasn't white trash, made up nonsense and wasn't being picked by every other parent.
