J.W. Rinzler Has Passed Away

    Posting this in this sub-forum, since Rinzler was at one time a mainstay employee of Lucasfilm.

    I knew this was coming, given the severity of his condition over the last few months, but God this hurts so much. So much of what I know and understand about the production of some of my absolute favorite films is thanks in large part to Rinzler's work. Keeping his family in my thoughts right now....

    Tragic. He was far too young, but his books, the high standard for which are passionate, joyful and meticulous will be an incredible legacy. Thank you Jonathan Rinzler.
