Well, it's finally here....

The First Jacella Thread Challenge!!*

In the midst of the pre-Awards mania, we also have an upcoming celebration of our fathers, who we love, and also think are incredibly annoying at times.

So, may I present our Father's Day inspired challenge!

What better way to celebrate than writing a Jacella vig about Jacen or Jysella?s father. The vig should be about one of their father?s finding out about their secret romantic relationship that has been happening for the past three months at least.

We all know it?s easy to write someone happy about a budding relationship, but this is a challenge?fighting must ensue at some point! The father should be very very upset by the revelation.

You must also use the following words or phrases:
How could you?
I don?t want to get to know him!
Fragrant
Lout
Mania

Your vig must also end with this sentence: ?I guess it?s time to pray that you?ll change your mind before you get hitched!?

So go forth and write! Good luck! (no particular time limits, just try to get them done when you can)

Oooh! Does it have to be a vig? Cuz I've already done one of those... Cuz I can certainly fit that into the one with lotsa daddies fic I';m writing...but it's a short story. (Perfect challenge for father's day, however!)

 

Longer than a vig is good. All the more story to love!

~Emmi's Independence Day Challenge~

Jacen and Jysella are both the children of heroes. Write a story in which Jacen and Jysella have to deal with an independence holiday in which their parents or they themselves are honored.

Must include:

A member of Rogue Squadron

a memorial to soldiers who've died in battle

a mention of one of the following characters: Padmé Amidala, Bail Organa, Garm Bel Iblis, Mon Mothma, or Obi-wan Kenobi

I'd think so. You might want to check with the thread manager (DreamingIce) but it should be fine.

What's everybody up to? I posted a (very sleepy) Jacella story last night. This place is awfully quiet; has anybody else been doing some writing?

 

I've been writing, a sequel to my Jysella Jacen fic, but it has become harder to find time to write.
