Jar Jar Binks is one of my favorite SW - Characters, i don't understand why so many people hate him. I'm in the fan club!

 

I came across this video from Draw with Jazza channel. The guy who made this drawing deserves a medal!

 

Well I know this thread is a few months quiet but mesa wanna drag it up to the font to declare my unconditional love for Jar Jar Binks. He is an amazing and underrated character. The hate against him is irrational and frustrating, he never did anything to earn such contempt and I greatly enjoy his development throughout the movies from clumsy Gungan exile to Bombad General, to slightly more serene but till fun Representative in the Senate. I will proudly shout my love for this Amazing Gungan from the roof tops and I say Haters gonna Hate.

 

I had no idea there was a Jar Jar Binks appreciation thread... I want to join, I always liked Jar Jar! I never understood all of the hate against him either.

 

There is an Appreciation thread for Almost everybody! But it is good to see some Jar Jar love.

*looks at post history* What? I havent posted in here before? That must be changed! Jar Jar is amazing!

 

One of the very few minor gripes I had with TCW was Jar Jar was never in the senate. He is the Representative of Naboo and he never so much as had a cameo in Padmes pod. Even when it would have made sense! Like in the Bardotta arc he was literally the focus of the arc but he was not present in the pod. Why did he never attend those meetings I wonder?

 

I feel like physically burning this group down to the ground, with Jar Jar inside.

 

Don't underestimate the power of Jar Jar Binks!

 

I like Jar Jar so much, I immortalized him in a tattoo on my forearm. It's him as a lego minifig being torn in two by an octopus, but still Jar Jar.

 

Why do I sense so much hostility in the Jar Jar Appreciation Thread?

 

His two episodes with Mace Windu during TCW season 6 were hilarious.

 

Agreed. They are on my list of favorite episodes. Top on the list of fave Mace moments, and second on my list of Jar Jar moments.

 

I like them and think they were fun, I just wish Jar Jar was in the Senate scene. Minor gripe I know.

Oh and I also like seeing Oppo Rancisis finally attend a council meeting, but my gushing over that is better suited to another thread.

 

Just a personal opinion, but I think that the Senate didnt want him in there for fear he would cause the Senat seats to go bumper car driving.

 

Well he seemed to handle himself pretty well in episode II, but now I really want to see a skit of him doing just that.

 

I want to also join Jar Jar Binks fan club.
And I was wondering,what happened to Jar Jar ? He did not died in Revenge of the Sith but does not appears after.

 

In my head Canon he lives forever, destined to torment the haters for all eternity.

Though sadly I doubt Disney has the guts for that. Likely he just fades away after episode 3. Maybe settles down with queen Julia and marries. I'd like that.

I get the feeling if the new crew ever does use Jar Jar in anything again, we Jar Jar fans will regret it. I'm content that they have left their hands off our poor lovable Gungan for now.
