Speaking of the Draft, should we set a time for a live draft in the next few weeks?

 

I responded to Tony's message about Sept 2nd. I wouldn't mind doing a draft that Monday (Labor Day) or that Tuesday. I hesitate to do it any later since regular season starts on Thursday.

 

Good point. That would give the rest of the month for scouting purposes. There isn't enough time for a full draft here on the JCF, unfortunately.

 

I also posted a message about the league settings. If the settings are currently final, or if they will be updated. Like roster position settings and scoring. I would just like to know for draft prep. And I am a big fan of doing the draft on labor day for selfish reasons. I work the overnight shift from 7pm-5am. But I would be off that night ;-) . But if it just can't be that night I will try to figure something out.

 

I'm not sure if the settings can be changed. It might have locked me into those from last year. I will have to check.

Yeah, I believe from past years it has been a PPR league. I am not complaining either way. Just wanted to know ahead of time so I can figure out who to target. Cheers.

Honestly I agree with doing it later since its only been one round of preseason games. Gives more time for scouting purposes and allows you to work around possible injuries in the preseason. Though I need to know the exact time because I'll still be adjusting to college life at that point so I need notice ahead of time.

 

I don't think I got an invite either.

 

So it looks like we are just waiting on the last two teams to register and then we are at 12, correct?
