MOD JCF Hate Speech Policy

Please note that this policy applies across all of the Jedi Council Forums.

The Jedi Council Forums has zero tolerance for hate speech. Hate speech is defined as any post that attacks a person or group on the basis of attributes such as gender identity, ethnic origin, religious affiliation or lack thereof, race, disability, genetic attribute or sexual orientation. This includes but is not limited to:

—References to the inclusion of a traditionally marginalized group as an “agenda” on the part of filmmakers or storytellers, with the implication or statement that there is no “agenda” in the inclusion of non-marginalized groups.

—Broad exclusive stereotypes or generalizations about groups of people.

—Statements that marginalized groups of people are inferior to others in any way, do not deserve to exist, or deserve second-class citizenship in any society.

—Statements or suggestions that there are or should be defined and exclusive societal roles for certain groups of people. This includes but is not limited to manner of dress, type of work, or movement throughout societal space.
