Jedi-con 2004...?

Hi everybody

As you maybe already know, there is going to be the Jedi-Con at easter 2004 in Düsseldorf.

Nearly everybody of the GSFF is going, so, would you like to join in?

I'm asking also, because we should think about reserving at the youth hostel Düsseldorf soon.

I have people fron Central Services who want to go but we wont be able to confrim anytime soon, plus I think they wish to stay in a hotel.

But there will be some of us there!

 

It's more or less 100 euros, isn't it ? A bit expensive

 

Depends on whether you do it for all three days, we're not planning on doing that

Are you thinking about a hotel which can be booked with the con-registration? How much is it (if you already know)?

Marc: I think it's only 50?...okay plus tickets for the con...
Till 31st of august the tickets for all three days are a bit cheaper: 115? for non-OSWFC-members.

 

No probs, I just knew my way around as I have been on the site before. And as I haven't perfected my German I always look for English first

Not quite sure on the hotel just yet, trying to get numbers.
Me and Charis are definatly going, two other members very likely as they are trying to get their film and artwork displayed at the con. And a possability from another member

Con Fees "Three-Day-Ticket" for regular visitors to the Con

For all non-members of the German OSWFC the following fees apply

105,- EURO Agreement signed during registration and payment
is due by no later than 08.31.2003

113,- EURO Agreement is signed during registration and payment
is due after 09.01.2003

120,- EURO Agreement is signed during registration and payment
is due after 01.01.2004

One day passes aren't confirmed

 

I just thought, if half of us are going to buy three-day-tickets and the other half prefers tickets for one or two days, the con wouldn't be a great place for a european meeting... we couldn't be together all the weekend and that's (what i thought) a meeting is all about..

 

I was talking about tickets for the con, not hostel...

One-Day-Tickets

Once again there will be a limited number of One-Day-Passes for JEDI-CON 2004. These will go on sale sometime in Fall of this year. Part of the reason why the One-Day-Passes are not available earlier is because we are not yet certain who we can get as guest stars and on what day(s) the guest stars are holding their panels (some potential guests for example mentioned that they would be able to participate for only one or two of the three con days).

The price of the one-day-passes too is dependent on the above-mentioned factor, since availability of certain guests might make one day much more attractive than the next.

Haven't posted in this forum before but would like to say I'll be going to Jedi-Con 2004, along with amber and darth-dom (also from the kent UK FF).

We'll be showing off artwork and our fanfilm too, so hope to see you all there

 

I already heard about you showing a FanFilm. I'm really looking forward to see it.

I'm looking forward to seeing it too
We're very confident it will be finished in time because the last few months have been very productive and the last VFX shots are getting complete and then we just need to work on the sound

I hope to get a few more art pieces complete aswell, so shall be very busy right up until April.
