Thanks guys. It's pretty awesome to actually be paid to work on a writing staff. I mean, I had a paid internship in the past, but this is much more permanent. I'm just hoping I get credited, though a lot of times there's not space in the credits timewise to list the WAs. Mad Men did it, but they had more time for the episodes.

Cool, so everyone post where you work!

Thanks guys :) It definitely is a dream job. When I did this job on another show as a paid intern, every day I thought, "is this really work? Why am I getting paid to do this? This is just what I do all day in my free time."

Ironically, my boyfriend has my pro guest badge this year but has wound up having to get Thur and Fri passes from someone else because of it. Because now I can't go down until Friday night, and I have to be there to check a guest in :p The only exception will be if our show goes to Comic Con, which it may, though it also may not. That would be the best work trip ever.

I think the first stop should be 'The David Tennant Show' starring... David Tennant.

It would involve a flat and David Tennant would be the tenant who shares it with ten ants

Well, it sort of helped that she seemed enthusiastic, whereas you sounded like the bitter, disillusioned guy who went to Vietnam to Defend the American Way, and ended up getting strung out on drugs, committing a war crime, and then getting spit on when you finally came back home.

No, I'm more thinking it's possible they might google search the name of their show and want to find online discussion about it. Some writers do this, some don't. I definitely do it for shows I'm working on.

Chris, is this David Tennant show a talk show? Because I'm pretty sure none of his guests would ever get to speak. Which, really, is fine with me :p

Maybe just spell out the name of the show using images of letters.

Then afterwards we'll just call it Project Runway in all discussions.

Solojones, can you post examples of your creative writing? Bits of script, or dialogue, or something like that.

I was thinking one of those shows in which we we see behind the curtain on a celeb's life. A scripted comic take on real life - mockumentary. The closest match I can think of is 'Life's Too Short' (subject: Warwick Davis; written by Gervais / Merchant). It was on the BBC over here a year or two ago. In 'Life's Too Short' they made Davis into something he wasn't, but you don't have to go that far. You would get to script episodes from Tennant's life, though. Erm... :p
