Okay, today I´ll play the n00b. I got it that things are usually done in a diplomatic, indirect way around here, but I´ll be brutally honest.

I wait. I await for these boards to move so I can begin a new game and tell my friends about. I wanna play it and I wanna get my oldl crew to play it, too. And no, I don´t want them to use old socks. I want them to create accounts and that means, I needa wait. Wait, until these boards move. So . . .

Be honest to me (poor me, who is lost in these Communications and rumor mills). Is it going to happen or is it just "the end days" over here?

I know next to nothing about it, pal. But I share your concern. I doubt anybody got a date or anything, yet.

 

There's no date. Believe me, I share and echo your frustrations.

I want new blood. We're stagnating. And I can't do anything - it's the feeling of a lack of control that drives me nuts.

 

I can imagine that and I really feel with you. Yeah. If the board gets no fresh blood, it will dry out sooner or later. I hope for you guys things resolve before that point in time comes.

 

Just need to say, somewhere, cos I cannot say it to the player or GM waiting on me to update without giving away what I was about to do, that I do have a post, had been timing it for several days to have the max surprise, but as I was putting the finishing touches on, suddenly realised that Italian cruise liner in the news suddenly makes the timing for my scene inappropriate, and I gotta delay it.

 

Probably a good call. Still, it's amazing how many people they were able to get off the boat safely.

 

Personal bright note out of that tragedy is the transcript of the conversation between the Coast Guard commander who had to come and start cleaning up the mess and the captain of that ship who abandoned it well ahead of time. Google it, it'll be out on news sites.

 

I think the coast guard did an amazing job that night. Without any info from an acting captain (he actually had 2nd and 3rd Officer with him, leaving the 1st Officer alone there!) they really went on board of the sinking ship to make themselves a pciture of it, risking their lives. Even the major of the town on that island went on board to help. Amazing and sadly overshadowed by the greatest idiot in seamens history, probably. Oh man ,even listening to this guy . . . makes me sick.

 

Listened to it earlier. That captain's cowardice ... unbelievable.

I also learnt a few new Italian phrases and swear words, so that was nice.

 

Not that that's hard, you can pick up a lot of Italian swear words just by watching The Godfa- oh right.

Inside joke aside, man, that captain just completely missed the memo about staying with his vessel. Now he'll get to live forever as being dumber than Edward "It's cool guys, we'll sail around the iceberg" Smith.

 

Looking at Sirak´s new trailer, I hearby speak out a challenge! I can get seven of those guys identified. Anybody can do more without cheating?

Guess that means no Millions of Voices? What a shame. But this one looks very, very interesting. When do we get meat?

 

I could only get Manson before I had to cheat.

 

What, you can't recognize Ted Bundy and John Wayne Gacy on sight? Though I'll admit Dahmer stumped me.

 

I haven't had reason to research serial killers, so I'm very unfamiliar with it all, unlike you folks who use them as game material

 

Speaking of game material, does your trailer mean no more Steam? I was all set to play a Native American version of Django.

 

Steam is going to happen, it'll just take a bit longer to happen...the iceberg that is the plot is currently fully submerged, and I need something to stick above water for people to notice

Plus, cyberpunk is just cool and criminally underused.

 

Gacym Manson, Bundy. Charles Manson? Is it him? I only know how he looks later in life. Six could be the "Son of Sam" and 8 possibly Jeffrey Dahmer? Then I got nothing. So if I am right that is six and I already find that one frightening. And what better game material is there?

So what will it be about Sirak? I want more than that

And Cyberpunk. Ah. R. Talsorian and William Gibson is what I grew up with.

 

I believe Number 2 is the Vampire of Brooklyn. Dunno his name. And Jeffrey Dahmer? If you are right, I am wrong. I believe that guy was the Glasgow Ripper.

Anyway, it is obviously about Serial killers, which is an underused topic around here outside my games Anyway, a shame about Steam. I think we are stll waiting for "the big western" around here. Most boards have one sooner or later.

 

A shame, eh? I'll take that (indirect) challenge! I've been thinking about it for a while, and ideas have been jumbling around.

Oh, that is an effective trailer, really. But I did only know charles Manson and he is simply iconic. Jeffrey Dahmer? Fin, sometimes you creep me out. Who know what Jeffrey Dahmer looked like?

Serial Killers, Westerns, Cyberpunk. Looks like NSRPF is slowly taking over! Good!
