Amph Joe Abercrombie's The First Law (and other works)

I have't seen a thread about this.

So yesterday I picked up The Blade Itself, the first book in The First Law trilogy. I've just started, but already I can tell this is going to be good. The world, though seeming to be Europe at a particular point in history, is quite intriguing, as are the characters who inhabit them.


Anyone else read this or any of Joe Abercrombie's works?

 

Oh yeah, easily some of my favorite fantasy to come out in the last few years.

The entire trilogy is great, and I think he's got a 4th book set in the same world coming out next year.

The Bloody Nine is incredible.
