John Williams hospitalized in London (Oct 2018)

    He was due to conduct in London tonight with the concert airing live on Classic FM. BBC News says the concert will go ahead with Dirk Brosse conducting. Brosse was principal conductor for the Star Wars: In Concert orchestral tour between 2009 and 2011. Williams was due to conduct the Vienna Philharmonic in early November but those concerts have been cancelled. BBC News story.
