July Meet?

i know that our rule is that we meet on the first saturday of the month, but phill's barbecue / birthday is on the 17th and could be arranged as the july meet, but only if everyone agrees.

i am easy and i'll go with the majority decision unless opinion is divided and we need a deciding vote

thoughts?

As much as I love you guys and want to come to as many Midland's meets as I can, the 15th/16th weekend is the North York meet, so I won't be able to get there. But have fun
I have to look for a birthday pressie for Phill to send now

 

I'm up for Phill's being the official meet as some, myself hopefully, may be going to London for the 1st of July.

 

a late addition to my original post, phill's birthday is on the monday, so if everyone were to agree to his party being the meet, it would be the saturday previously (this is all assuming that phill agrees to this in the first place ), the 15th july.

 

I always have an open house policy for my birthday BBQ, so no problems from my end

Phill and I have to celebrate our birthday together on that weekend as my birthday is the week before and phills a couple of days later. I expect birthdays cards or there will be trouble.

i think ill have to bow out as well due to the fact that i ont think i would be able to get up to leicester around that time.

Actually, that's a good point. I've got to think how I would get home. If this is an all night shindig then I'll be fine but if I have to get back in the evening it may be a struggle. I'm willing to work hard to try and avoid missing it though.. any ideas?

yer that really isnt funny. I think ill have to double check dates and be very very kind to mum. and if i do go i will need a place to crash.

the main problems are money for petrol and pursuading mum to let me go....
