Just a quick question

Do you ever think we could get a little 'clicky' added to the top of a thread that will automatically take us down to the last post? Scrolling down thread after thread, over and over gets a little annoying after a while.

I think it'd be a good idea to have the '>>' next to the last poster's name link to the last post, not just the thread.

bottom of the page, last post - what's the difference ? When I push 'End' it takes me down to exactly the right place to view the last post.

 

It is about an 8in diffrence on my monitor.

what size is your monitor ? I've checked on a 15" LCD, and a 17" LCD, it it looks perfect to me.

I use this too. End, then page up to find whatever post is new to me. Or i just scroll.

 

You could always just use the spacebar to move more quickly to the end of the page...

I'm pretty sure she means a link that takes you to your last unread post. Some forums have this feature.

Doesn't it link to the last message, like where it highlights the title bar of the last message? I remember that being what it did. Hmm...

It's supposed to link to the last message. However, instead of jumping to the last post for you, it just highlights the titlebar of the message (the box with Dated Posted, Subject, and edits) and leaves the screen centered on the first post. I guess the forum doesn't have the <a name> code that will let you jump straight to a section.

That's possibly a coding oversight by zerosleep. I'll mention it in his thread in the MS.
