Hi guys. Apologies if this had been dealt with in another thread but does anyone know at exactly what point Kanan and Ahsoka join up with Bail. We know that Kanan became the leader of the Ghost crew when he was 28. Does anyone know how old he was when he met Hera? When did Ahsoka become a member of the rebellion? Does she join up soon after order 66? Does Bail help to conceal her from Vader until she gradually becomes part of his resistance movement? I know there are books out there which are considered canon, what do they have to say about this? Also feel free to speculate, I'm writing this from the perspective of a fanfiction writer.
The novel A New Dawn is what covers Kanan meeting Hera (it's set 6 years before Rebels, 11 years before ANH, and 8 years after ROTS - Kanan was about 22 at this time). Nothing covers post-ROTS Ahsoka as yet. Kanan was born 33 years before ANH. He was about 14 as of ROTS. Kanan, doesn't know about Bail's heavy involvement in the Rebellion - going by Droids in Distress. Hera knows that her cell is just one of many, though.
There's been speculation on future books and/or comics covering post-TCW Ahsoka's adventures. Up until those come out, no one has a clue on when she joined the Rebellion.
Kanan starts knowingly working with Bail Organa at the end of Fire Across The Galaxy, when the Ghost crew is introduced to him (although Kanan had already met him once before as a Padawan). Until that point he was kind of working for Bail but only through being with Hera, who was the one in contact with the wider rebellion.
