KENOBI - Ben's Theme

Hello there!

(no other reasonable way to start this post...)

I'm a composer looking for STAR WARS FAN FILMS to score. In the meantime, I took my guess on how would be Ben Kenobi's theme, a deeper and more depressed character now, in the upcoming Disney + TV series...

This is my humble outcome. Obviously, it's not John Williams' insane quality level, but perhaps something worthy that you may enjoy.

Where did you study composition?
First impression - not bad. I like where you're trying to go. For me, the B part of the melody is a little confusing. Maybe different voicings in the chord progressions to give it that Cosmic Force feel. Like the leitmotif usage 'dadada dadada' to echo back to JW's score. Also - maybe some tympani and celeste?

 

I'm self-taught, and this would be my fifth year trying to learn music. My schools are books but mostly youtube videos and tutorials, so any criticism is always very welcome, so many thanks for your time!!!
