While it's supposed to be tragic, there's a bit of dark humor there as he's saying this to the same Anakin he just mutilated and watched burn to a crisp.

 

Wouldn't it have been funny to see Anakin mock-lecturing ObiWan when he had lost his lightsaber.

 

Oh come on now, we're missing so many amazing Kenobisms from TCW.

 

"Oh, Master... Now what are you gonna do? That weapon was your life."

 

What episode is that from? I'm only just starting to watch it.

 

I believe that photo is from the season 2 Mandalore arc.
Though the line appears to be made up. I have no recollection of it from the fifty or so times I have seen the series.
Could be wrong about that though.

Obi-Wan never actually loses his lightsaber in the show, it does however get mildly damaged at one point in season one which Anakin does mock him for. "Don't suppose it was hit by a rock?" or something like that. But then Anakin did lose his lightsaber in that same episode so it was playing off of Obi-Wan just having chastised him for that.

I seem to recall a few jokes existing in the old EU books about Obi-Wan losing his lightsaber and Anakin poking fun at it, but I don't recall any names right now.

I like that chronologically his first line is "I have a bad feeling about this"

 

"I sense a trap." (After Anakin says "I sense Dooku.")

When asked by Anakin what his next move is...

"Spring the trap!"

I hear Obi-Wan claims that "springing the trap" is what he and Anakin always do.

"Anakin, Chancellor Palpatine is evil!"

No wordy descriptions, or long winded sentences describing said Chancellor. Just straight, direct, and to the point.

 

"Anakin! How many times have I told you? Stay away from power couplings!" as they're getting shocked.

 

I love that reaction, followed by the brief staredown before Anakin elaborates. He is SO out of line and the sharpness of Obi-Wan's "What" speaks volumes.
You could cut the tension with a knife, but at the same time, the exchange is hilarious!

 

One of his lines in Battlefront II goes something along the line of: "Now Count, you know my policy on setting traps."
Which I just fine hilarious for some reason.

 

Obi-Wan: Go and find her.
Anakin: Where are you going, Master?
Obi-Wan: For a drink.

 

"She seems to be on top of things."

 

"Oh, I agree. However, it might turn out just to be a wild Bantha chase."

Obi-Wan trying to be humorous while downplaying the importance of his mission to ease Anakin's anxiety.

Before I do anything, I always ask myself, is this something that Obi-Wan would tell me to rethink my life over? And if the answer is yes, then I don't do that thing.

 

"You have become the very thing you swore to destroy!"

"Padme's ass?"

"No, a Sith, Anakin! What the hell is wrong with you?"

 

When I cut you in half I should have aimed for your neck..
