It is most likley a one off, but could be potenial trilogy like the OT was.

It's the Middle Republic films... the trilogy that will seamlessly blend High, Old, and New Republics into one convenient package.

It's more a reply to all of it most likely to happen, which I think is possible that a good chunk of what we are hearing will happen...Or at the very least I wouldn't be shocked if it did.

I saw Eternals and Loved it so did my dad and nephew who is in high school! My nephew thinks the conservative media doesn't like the diversity in the cast and director and crew I agree with him! It was an epic film with a different kind of Marvel story and it even had an opening crawl like star wars and an Eternal reading a DK Star Wars cross section book!

 

I'm not sure I'm going to like Eternals but I adored Nomadland, so definitely excited for this.

I enjoyed Eternals and I think the critical response is too harsh, but there are pacing issues and at least one legit plot issue to critique. At least an 8/8.5 though, and adds something different to the MCU.

 

I think the issues with Eternals are all to do with the massive cast Zhao had to deal with, an already-baked mythology that involves 2D deviants, and the obligation to go with digital madness in the 3rd act. All the rest is Zhao, and it’s great. And I don’t think Zhao will c’è as hamstrung in the Star Wars sandbox.

 

I liked Eternals the only thing that took me by surprise was there origins. But I could see her doing a Star Wars film especially one with a lot of lore.

 

And not being forced to have her characters fly around everywhere will make her Star Wars film feel more grounded. Literally.
