    I mean he wasn't all that involved in most of it. Most of it was up to the publishers.

    To which are you referring? I think the quality has been more consistently good, while the EU had some gems but some really terrible stuff as well.

    Why would casting Brie Larson be considered trolling us? Brie Larson is a critically acclaimed and Oscar winning actress. I think we'd be pretty lucky to have her on board!

    I missed Crystal Star so can’t comment, but I remember Jedi Prince being fine for the age group it was aiming at, although I was a kid. Have you read them or Aftermath? Aftermath is amazingly bad, and it was the first one they published lol.

    Because Brie Larson is extremely obnoxious in several interviews and "Captain Marvel" was not good.

    No I haven't, but I know they have a reputation among the fans as being particularly bad. I've read bit of Aftermath, so I can't comment in detail, but I know the story isn't too bad (not sure how it reads in novel form). Do you have other examples besides that one book?

    Life Debt and Empire's End are much better than the first one. I'd recommend you give them a shot.

    The story is fine, but Wendig's writing style in the first Aftermath was just really choppy and weird. He cleaned it up in the follow ups though.

    At the end of the day it’s a question of taste, and I don’t want to get too negative but I don’t like Catalyst, Bloodline or the main Star Wars series from Marvel. Doctor Aphra is good, probably the only part of the nu EU I like besides Rebels. Jedi Fallen Order looks like it’ll be very good, but I can’t think of anything else. I haven’t gotten around to the new Thrawn stuff yet, but it looked interesting.

    You got any recommendations?

    More like over ten prominent Star Wars Youtubers, each with 10s of thousands of subscribers who hate Brie Larson and "Captain Marvel." They are known as "The Fandom Menace."

    No, from what I've seen they are grifters who exploit outrage for money and hate Larson on misogynistic grounds.

    No, Brie Larson fans like to call her detractors "misogynist." Disliking ONE actress doesn't make fans misogynist. Larson doesn't represent all women.

    I don't care/know what she does or doesn't do off screen. I just don't want to see Marvel actors in Star Wars. Thank God Ewan McGregor didn't get roped into it.
