STAR WARS KNIGHTS OF THE OLD REPUBLIC #9

JOHN JACKSON MILLER (W), DUSTIN WEAVER (P), MICHAEL ATIYEH (C), and BRIAN CHING (Cover)

    On sale September 27, FC, 32pg, $2.99

The ââ?¬Å?Flashpointââ?¬ï¿½ storyline reaches its explosive conclusion as fugitive Padawan Zayne Carrick and his unlikely shipmates from the Last Resort undertake their most dangerous mission yetââ?¬â??traveling deep inside Mandalorian space to rescue one of their own! With a little help from the most unexpected of allies, Zayne and the gang must find an isolated space outpost, once a Republic research station, now in the hands of a Mandalorian scientist with wholly evil intentions. To think they can pull this off with both themselves and their friend intact, theyââ?¬â?¢d have to be insaneââ?¬â??luckily they are!

Hey, I am only up to #5 since the rest of these havent come out yet, but I was under the impression that the Zayne Carrick story arc was only for six issues. Now, I am seeing that he's STILL on the lam.....I guess I'll see next month if his original story gets resolved. I was figuring that they'd give us nine or ten new characters to follow thru the KOTOR comics.

Just noticed that the arc for #7-9 is titled "Flashpoint."

Yeah, I noticed that on darkhorse.com too. I think it's a mistake, as that's still the cover for #10, as well.

Can't be a mistake, since they stuck the issue number on it, and the #10 "cover" is just art without the number. Looks like a Legacy-style switcharoo due to delays.

It's numbered 9 on the cover. Unless Homecoming has moved to issue 9 and pushed Flashpoint, part 3 to 10-- and they forgot to move the solicitation info-- then I doubt it's a mistake.

I woundn't either-- I'm really looking forward to "Homecoming" for that very reason.

On another note: Commencement, Homecoming, Reunion... should we be looking forward to a Graduation, Spring Break, and Ring Dance as well? :p

Yeah, I'm a dolt. #9 is almost definitely "Homecoming," with "Flashpoint, part 3" pushed back to #10.

    Seriously, Havac?

Does anybody besdies me have any hope that we might get to find out who the mysterious-hooded-and-robed character that could either be Nihilus, Traya or Revan really is?

It's starting to drive me nuts.

I don't know if we'll find out in this issue, but I'm sure it will be eventually revealed.

So the associate is... Lucien's mom?!

That's it? No Kreia, no Atris? Disappointing.

Coruscant looks quite Byzantine. I'm reminded of Jolee's comment in KOTOR 1.

I wonder if we'll actually get to see the High Council.

No, she can't. Because, if you didn't notice, her name was mentioned, and it isn't Kreia.

I know, but wasn't "Kreia" not her real name either?
