JOHN JACKSON MILLER (W), BRIAN CHING (A/Cover), and MICHAEL ATIYEH (C)

    On sale March 28

The "Days of Fear" story arc reaches its explosive conclusion in a story of dangerous visions, unheeded warnings, and decisions made too late!

Fugitive Padawan Zayne Carrick faces his darkest moments so far as a desperate attempt to avert a cataclysmic disaster drives him into the arms of his enemies. Zayne puts his life on the line in an attempt to save those who don't even realize the grave fate they face, but will his sacrifice be in vain? Meanwhile, the small-time con Gryph has happened upon big-time profit, but if he doesn't keep his greed in check, this seeming success story could quickly turn tragic!

Doesn't look like Yavin or pyramids to me. Just huts with weird roofs.

    QFUT: Quoted for Undeniable Truth
Can't wait to see what Mandalore the Ultimate does in this one.
EDIT: Corran, do you think you could make an icon out of Mandalore from this cover?

Okay, I might be way off here --

At the end of the Tales of the Jedi Comics (Sith War, I think), the major Mandalore bites the dust on Dxun (Indomitable, I believe?), and then some nameless Mandalore comes out of nowhere and picks up his mask and says something corny like, "Now I am the new Mandalore!"

--> Is that nameless nobody this badass fellow on the cover?

    Thanks, Imperialles!

So... they took a complete nobody who appeared for the last 5 seconds of TOJ and made him an integral (and impressively badass) part of this series?

This is why I love the EU.

    Reason #10, 078, that is. :)

Mandalore the Ultimate was mentioned in both KOTOR games, though, which likely had a strong influence on him being in this series.

Wild_Karrde, what's your source on this? rebelscum? Not that I don't believe you, but out of curiosity. :)

saems tory, someone in trouble, someone gives something up, time to save someone, and in the end very few big battles, and probably the same red, blue, green colored lightsabers, and while we are at it....the wonderful delays that have the people at the darkhorse site defend and say ohhhhh quality. Wonderful!

Some very intriguing stuff there in what looks to be a very dark issue...'dangerous visions'...'unheeded warnings'...Zayne's 'sacrifice'...

Could this be the beginnings of Sion or Nihilus? [face_thinking]

Yeah...otherwise I'm sure he would have been avoided like the plague, like all the other TOTJ characters.

Although I think it was Abel's Mandalorian article that came out post-KOTOR II that first established the Mandalore mentioned was the one from the end of The Sith War, which Dan Wallace then expanded on in NEC.

Hah. To quote Mane when he posted the cover over on the DH boards, "there's a blurb, but who cares."

And I thought getting both arms pulled out of their sockets when you beat a Wookiee was bad enough (although, to be fair, I hadn't considered beating Kyle a possibility)

    Awesome and very dramatic cover.

I love how there is this uber almost ROTS like cover, and the blurb makes it sound all dark and dramatic, talking about a sacrifice etc, but then it says "Meanwhile Gryph is making a ton of money! Can he keep his fortune?

    [face_laugh]

What. Is Gryph the new Lando? :p
